Robyn screams, then faints.! !! !! !! ! AAAHHHHHHHHH!

Her eyes flicker. "Postpaleo," she whispers. "My hero........" She passes out again but the cafe women leap over her as they make a mad dash to get his autograph.

The cafe reverberates with screams and the rattle of rocks...

"POSTPALEO!POSTPALEO!POSTPALEO!POSTPALEO!POSTPALEO!POSTPALEO!

Swampblossom glances about, spots the entrance and grabbing pp's hand sprints to safety. The superstar stumbles after her, a dazed look on his face.

Robyn crawls away. "Time for bed," she mumbles.

If you're still here, DeaconBlues, and could be serious for a moment, what is an XBox?

I am so disconnected from contemporary culture, I know absolutely nothing about them. Are they a game or a music player? Don't know! Really! I live like a hermit.

I suppose I could look it up on the net.

Why are they so popular?

Alan

XBox is a brand of home video-game console, manufactured (at a loss, for quite a few years) by Microsoft. It's considered the best of its generation of game consoles for graphic presentation, although the Nintendo GameCube is considered easier to use, and the Sony Playstation 2 outsold both others by virtue of having better graphics than the GameCube, and being about a hundred dollars cheaper than the XBox.

I have an XBox because we had borrowed it from a friend, who subsequently swiped my wife's claymore (sword, not explosive) and absconded. I therefore inherited the device by default. It's been good to me, guiding me through Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, Fable: The Lost Chapters, Def Jam Fight For NY, Star Wars: the Clone Wars, Worms IV: Mayhem, and a disc full of adaptations of old Midway arcade games (although I can't seem to crack into the top level on Hydro Thunder, a boat-racing game - but it's fun to try!). Meanwhile, my PS2 has died, and the only game for the GameCube that I still enjoy playing is Skies of Arcadia Legends, and it hardly seems worthwhile to hook all that hardware back up for one lousy game. (Perhaps one day, when I break down and get a Wii, I'll play it again...)

Meanwhile, in the current generation, the XBox 360 is managing to outsell the Playstation 3 by virtue of having come out a year earlier, and being about a hundred dollars or so cheaper than the PS3. (Can't say Bill Gates doesn't learn from history!) The 360 also has a number of titles that will be exclusive to itself, including Halo 3 and Fable 2, and will debut the hotly-anticipated Grand Theft Auto IV about a month earlier than the PS3 version.

Enough? Or did you want more? <insert villainous chortle here>

I believe I'd be seriously ticked off about the claymore, and want it back!

either that or let me know your kilt size. can't be running around with a claymore if you don't have the proper clothing for it.

Oh, well, then you can always go the more traditional route. Probably better with the heat there anyway. We'll all take up a collection for the bail money.

And what's that new string you've got the runner beans in your garden growing on? It's kinda odd looking. 8O

Geeze, I might have to do one about the making of Wild Thing. It would have to have an X rating I fear. The postie bot on the table was not taking his cue's correctly. The more he failed to hit his marks, carefuly drawn out in my mind, for his dance routine, the more I focused and got even more anal. (He will be retired to one of the Granddaughters, very soon. It just happens to be on her birthday.)(It's a benifit of being the giver, it's an excuse to buy kid things and they can be noisey, also known as revenge of the parent) The take number that I announced in the beginning was a lie, however it was getting closer to that high number and the closer it got, the more SwampBlossom was gettin pissed. The more she got pissed from me getting more anal, well her patience was raipdly waining. There was no laughter coming from her lips, nope, none. The cackle you hear in the middle of it, is mine. The ranting swear words were carefuly cut out, directed at postie bot and animals that wanted to join the dance, well the camara wasn't going helped. The Dachsunds wanted to eat the thing, not dance and Ike wanted to see what that thing was in The Wife's hands, typical mayhem around here. Jack the cat just wanted to lay down on the towel dance floor and watch. Everytime I suggested the camara work needed a diferent angle or distance the camara gal, The Wife, took it as a personal insult, damn artists anyway. The laughter at the end, happens to be musical, because my little robot postie was reaching into his canned laughter. I suspect the next film might be of the little postie bot dancing at the divorce of The Blossom and the (dumb as a) Post.

Just stopping by to drop something off for you all and wish you a good day. If you have 7.5 minutes to spare you might enjoy watching.

The music that accompanies the video below is Sonnerie de Sainte Genevieve du Mont de Paris
or "The Bells of Saint Genevieve". It's one of my favorites and while looking for it on youtube I found the NASA video.

"Tous les matins du monde sont sans retour," meaning literally "all the mornings of the world [leave] without [ever] returning." It can be translated as "Each day dawns but once."

All the Mornings of the World

Yes dear

http://www.ccleaner.com/download
Poke this one and use the Alternative Download button. Version v1.41.544 (2,657KB) This is totaly free and no ad supported nonsense. You will get an auto notice when a new version is ready.

It is for Windows, will clean temp folders in Explorer and Firefox. You can also stop certian programs from starting when you boot your computer, takes a little bit of guess work but not hard. It will also clean other slow downs when you use the Advanced Options and I do. Windows has always been a very "dirty" running operating system. It will also do a Registry Cleaning, save it the first time it runs, run it again and save it again. make sure all is running correctly with a reboot. After that I don't bother saving it anymore. I don't even on a fresh install now, I have that much faith in it. You don't need to run this too much, after windows does an update or any other program for that matter, Adding and deleting programs, run this too, uninstalls don't get rid of all the garbage. It's going to free up a bunch of hard drive space, so use your disk cleanup and defrag that comes with windows along with CCleaner. Give all these a little time to do if you have never done them. Also find a folder in Windows called "Prefetch" delete the contents of the folder, but don't delete the folder itself, just whats in it. It will regen itself with what it really needs and not left over junk, which it is suppose to do anyway, but doesn't.

There is an option in how you want explorer to run now. It used to be a seperate thing you had to find. It's in properties, there is a little box that has explorer dump any temp files as soon as you exit it. Like these vids we watch? They're still on your harddrive unless you get rid of them.
