NAN, TELL CHUCK TO GIVE ME BACK MY TUTU!! !!

ok, i have one little bottle of wine and you guys just go berserk on me so that i can't keep up. SO not fair taking advantage of a muddled mind!

hell, hon, he bench presses volkswagons. as if ~i'm~ gonna tell anyone like that to do anything?????

I'll wrestle him for it myself if I have to ( and I mean that in the most platonic, brother and sister type way, Postie!)

Huh?

What?

I don't care how fast Nan gets stonkered, I want to see BlessedMom wrestle a kiltless Chuck for the Pink Tutu.

If only we could get some claymore in there too and some massaging, WOW, It would be like more blessed kiltless clay wresting for the Pink Tutu.

Are you still claiming you can't follow this, Nan?

i have NO fricking idea where this is going, really.
ok, maybe a slight idea. i put dibbs on the ticket concession for this one.

"stonkered"???? that's a new one.

It's Ozzie for drunk. I don't know why, but Ozzies seem to have a lot of technical terms for getting drunk.

I'm practising Ozzie speak for when Nannarob comes back.

I'm identified as a Boofhead, what can you expect. Nannarob thought it was inappropriate but that's Boofhead's for you.

niteynite, nan. Sleep tight! I think I had better go behave myself. It is becoming quite obvious that I was raised around 16 rowdy boys and no girls!!

Goodnight ladies . . .

Farewell ladies . . .

Sweet dreams ladies . . .

LATE NIGHT THOUGHTS

Ships that pass in the night, and speak each other in passing,
Only a signal shown and a distant voice in the darkness;
So on the ocean of life we pass and speak one another,
Only a look and a voice, then darkness again and a silence.

EARLY MORNING THOUGHTS

I knew the stars, the flowers, and the birds,
The gray and wintry sides of many glens,
And did but half remember human words,
In converse with the mountains, moors, and fens.

JM Synge (1871-1909)

Good Morning, Mom.

Sorry, but I was away from my desk for a moment and when I got back, the site froze. Seems to be doing that more frequently, lately. I wish I had some money, then I'd send them some to increase their bandwidth.

Other that that, though, I am here and there, lurking, posting, and writing for my blog.

I just went through the dyslexia thread, and I'm trying to figure if I can make a contribution there. In case you haven't noticed, I do have mild dyslexia that can get much stronger when I'm tired or anxious. Then, of course there's the literalism, pedantry, malapropism, free word association problem, the fact that I can be so dense that light can't escape my event horizon, and I might just have a few other problems too.

How're are things with you?

Isn't it VERY early in the morning for you?

Alan

PS: And drat! Before I could even post this, the site froze again for me.

Well, good to hear you're feeling useful! It was 7:30AM here when I posted to you. Which is an hour later than I SHOULD be getting out of bed. As of tomorrow it's up at 6:15AM to have the kids ready to leave for school at 7:30am. I believe I will end up going back to my old WP hours, which happen to fall whenever the rest of you are busy elsewhere. :( C'est la vie!

Dyslexia, that's a tough one. I wish I could send you some of my "gifts". I have hyperlexia, can you tell?? :)

We have sandpipers living here. I see them whenever I go to the river. We also have pelicans and enormous cranes.

Gotta' get ready for the day.
Lauri

Yeah, that was strange, trying to log in this early and having the site be down. Even checked to see where the server was - thought it might be out here on the coast and have melted from the heat or something. But it looks like it's over on the East Coast.

Morning, all.

It's been going down three or four times a day lately. Getting too large maybe? :?

Nice to see you, Nan!

Good morning, Nan.

Not sure anyone else is up or on site, or even if the site is up or on.

Other than logging off, is there anything I can do?

hi mom. no kids in today?

ummm, you can always post?

lemme think. if it's just shy of 8 in the morning here, that would make it late afternoon in england, and is it tomorrow in australia? or is it yesterday there? that time/date line thing always has confused me.

it was down a lot yesterday. maybe too many users logged on? or too many people who aren't users hitting it? right now it says there's only 335 members online, but how many people are actually lurking without membership is hard to know.

No, it's Labour Day in Canada so I have the day off from them. However the husband is home. No peace here today.

(Wow, I just tortured this post the first time I wrote it! 8O )
