I am 25 and a sophomore in college (getting my bachelor's degree). I would say that it is not too late to return (if you really want to) but that first it would be important to take care of the issues that made you drop out, initially. Or, if you don't think that Uni is something you could do again, then you should do something else.

I dropped out of high school at ~13 and was diagnosed aspie soon after, had home education until 16. Did nothing for 2 years as I couldn't overcome anxiety to go to collage. Somehow managed to pluck up the courage to get a driving licence, half a year later a neighbour wanted someone to put photos on his website.. that turned out to be a retail site which I've been running ever since as almost a full time job including working in a shop which has helped me over come anxiety and social awkwardness.

I'm 24 now, managed to keep one friend from high school but he's engaged and will be moving away soon which is depressing as I don't see my own life ever moving forward, I've got to where I am from luck more than anything..

I am also 22. I am currently bunking with a friend in Philadelphia and its pretty s**t. Most of the time, he is trying to take advantage of me and it generally seems that most people are this way as well. They are even swindering and hiding away from my specal interests and or skills.

Now I am just in this warped up paradox dealing with people who are willing to give me physical threats if I break out of there world they are supposingly placing me under. I am bored, going insane and simply cannot think or function at all.

I am contemplating breaking away from society and people as much as possible so I can break off from these conspiracys and finally be free.

Sounds a bit nuts but that is what people are doing with me and I don't know what to do about it.

I'm also 22 and like you I don't know what to do heh. I believe I was diagnosed back when I was 14 but I've sorta understood what I was like around others when I was younger. As in silent or lacking in some functions.

Hi I'm 22 years old, male with Asperger's. I dropped out of uni/college about a year ago and moved back in with my parents. I now work part-time in a supermarket. I am depressed and have no idea what I'm going to do with my life.

If you're also an aspie in your early 20s I'd be really grateful to hear how things are going for you.

I think I did the exact same thing. I was in a community college for a year, decided I needed a year off, and have been struggling with jobs ever since. The first job was amazing, but didn't pay well; I actually regret leaving it. About to start job number 4 this year.... I just need to find it first.

I'm also very depressed/messed up. I think I have a seasonal thing, but I also have a lot on my plate and I'm very stressed. Nice to hear I'm not the only one. :D
