I just need the nineties curtains haircut, that's what is missing.

Scully is very attractive, it is funny we are calling them by the characters they perform instead of their real names. :D

Hi, welcome to Wrong Planet! :) It's a good place.

Diagnosis is a daunting process, particularly later in life. I went through it last year at the age of 57, and it turned out I have borderline personality disorder, along with Aspie traits. But it's a relief to have that knowledge, as it explains a lot of things that up till then were merely hypothesis. Obviously it's your decision, but the consensus on WP tends to be that it's worth getting diagnosed. In the USA I know there are financial considerations too - but I'm in the UK, where ASC diagnosis is free on the NHS!

I don't think it's weird. They're different from their characters. And Scully has the red hair. That makes sense to me.

Hyperborean, it is a decision. Personally I have faced lots of BS by non specialists professionals, who gave me pills without assessing anything else really. My new psy says it's more giftedness (undetected for a long time) and isolation (SPD etc...) that makes me who I am now, and it's living that will help. And talk/communicate. That would make sense. So, I need to think.

Thanks for the welcome.
