I just wanted a graduation degree. In India, arts graduation is easier than science or commerce. Without a graduation degree, you might or might not get a good job, it's kind of a standard in India.

Earlier months would pass before someone made a post here. A few days are ok, it shouldn't remain inactive for a long time.

Hey there guys...nice to meet some fellow Indian aspies...

I'm from Delhi...my husband is from the Punjab...I've just posted a more lengthy introduction in the getting to know you section.

yeah people really have no clue about Aspergers over here. we need to educate people.

cheers :-)

Hello. Welcome to the India thread!

I read your introduction here - http://www.wrongplanet.net/postp4825721.html

Even though you're from India, I'm having great difficulty following what you've written. It is full of western references that I know nothing about (hulk smash, winging it, tattooed lady, Proff Xavier?). So I'll just talk about the things that I did understand.

You and your husband run a research company in Delhi? That is so interesting. I'm not even able to hold on to a proper job. You wrote that you guys have recently discovered about aspergers, and you're at the initial stage of understanding about autism. Isn't that blissful? To know that you do belong in the same world, and that there is a way to be happy and be yourself? We've all been through this stage, and it is so like having a burden lifted from your shoulders. I wish you guys luck for a better and happier future.

The questions that you've asked, I'll try to reply (whatever I know) in the thread itself.
One more thing, about losing your posts - I always keep saving what I've typed in a notepad file, I'm kind of paranoid that way. Maybe you can try that.

Lady-ivy, you mentioned that someone in your autism panel was asking about Indian aspie blogs. Can you show this to them, maybe they'd be interested in it?

Maybe you should just explain to your bus that when you said yes in response to the diagnosis question, you simply havent processed the question-response fast enough and that this is part of your Asperger. I just dont think it is safe to put yourself in a situation where you have to get diagnosed within few DAYS or else be caught in a lie.
