Hi Hartz. How are you doing? Cafe is quiet tonight. Nice to see you again.

Must be those anti social aspies all out socializing. Happens every week end I don't understand it.

I just can't take the Order of the Garter via the Order of the Pink Tu-Tu tonight. I don't even think you can hold up socks with that Garter thingy. Man those royals got a screw loose me thinks.

Something had better be holding up the socks or they might end up here.

I'll sit by Harts and lurk

...... na, can't do it! Jim has arrived home from his bike trip, and is planning the next one from Bundaberg to Brisbane (500+ km.)

Helen and the boys are here as well. It is a miracle what counselling is doing for them. I had suspected that AussieBoy would need some sort of medication, but he is making advances just with the counselling. His whole face has changed.

But they are still energetic boys. I took them to the park twice with the dogs. I was the bad pirate and the dogs were sharks. I lumbered after them and climbed things and... I'll sleep tonight!

Nothing Gold Can Stay

Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

This is how it is where I live now. It is amazing and sad that just 2 weeks ago I came out of work at 9:00pm and it was light out, and warm. Tonight it was dark, there was a cold wind and the leaves are changing color and falling.

Hi, cosmicat!

Robyn, it was nice to have company while lurking!

I've been trying to adjust to this new medication for pain, and I'm ready to wean off after three weeks. Of course I have to have the "serious" side effects right away. One of which is excessive grogginess. As if I don't have enough of that with Chronic Fatigue, I wish doctors could come up with something that will at least blunt pain, and not trade it off for about ten life altering side effects.

Lau, your dreams were interesting. I often dream of numbers, but forget to write them down.

Hi, Hartz! I'm sorry to hear that you are having med problems again. Treating chronic pain is so hard, and there seems to be so little out there that isn't addictive or hard on a person.

I had to start taking my pain meds again today. The Crohn's flares up every fall and is quite painful, almost as bad a childbirth. I was at work and took my usual pain meds that take away most of the pain but not all of it. They don't affect me any other way at all normally. But today I was higher than a kite. I had the customers laughing and smiling because apparently a high Blessedmom is a humorous, chatty Blessedmom.
