As I learned the hard way though, a smile can also come from a con-artist. That's how a couple of executive recruiters sucked me into a cruddy telemarketing job while dressing it up as a legitimate career.

A slightly downward angle. This was with the older piercing that I had before I made a new, better placed one (not very long ago, nonetheless). Yes, my hair is slightly PS'ed here because I was having a bad hair-day and wanted to make it look like it normally did =P
....and one sans make up, with messy hair. Just woken up (yeah, Scandinavian winters - that dark around the clock)
it's really rare that I manage to snag a decent looking picture which ALSO is me not making some silly ass faces....ever since I was a kid I either was completely expressionless on photos OR overly expressionate. Weird. I've manage to harness that quality a bit, though...

First pic: You are lucky, you've got the whole package - large wide grayish eyes, feminine facial features, a delicate movie star nose, and a beautiful set of lips. Second pic: your choice of jewelery is excellent picture and the earrings match the necklace.

Haha, I guess it's just a very flattering angle for me
but thank you! *hides behind her palms* (I'm not very good with receiving compliments). And, my eyes are supposed to be hazelish (dark) blue, they have sometimes appeared dark green (not due to different light or clothing).
That second pic is a tad blurry...my earring there is actually a G-clef, and the chain around my neck is just a random chain I once found, washed and started wearing around my neck because I thought it was cool
it's not the kind of chain that was originally meant to be worn as jewellry.

Well with a past as a tomboy (and still with some obvious remainders of that) I have gotten compared to guys before which is just cool

That's awesome, you have short hair and you look really good! That's not an easy thing to accomplish, not many women look good with short hair (I, for one, look terrible with short hair).
You're very pretty ;)

@Erminea: That's one way to do it I know what you mean though - because of the same reason I usually make weird cross-eyed goof-faces, I just don't know what else to do most of the time (unless I get more than, say 10 seconds of thinking time...)
