I want some. Now you've made me hungry. May I have the recipe?
I'm with Nan. What is it?
Also, speaking of Nan, did I miss something. Has the cafe been contaminated? By whom?
my mom always used lysol when she was doing her daily cleaning, when she was well enough to clean. our place smelled like a giant, synthetic/chemical pine forest 3/4ths of the time.
she was a little obsessive about strange things - like "clean". remember one afternoon when someone came to visit my folks, and the visitor smoked cigarettes. my mother got a crystal ashtray (round, pressed crystal, with a flower pattern in the bottom of it that you could see through the top of the ashtray, about 4 to 5 inches across) down out of the "company dishes" cabinet for them to use. and every time the poor man put the ciggie ashes in the tray she'd come over, take the ash tray away, and empty it. then between his cigarettes she'd take the ashtray to the kitchen and wash it in hot soapy water that had lysol in it. then put it back in front of him.
we were afraid to ask what she used in the laundry.
i had a weird birth-family.
and lysol might be in order, considering what postie was doing over behind the couch.
