Year/Grade: Just completed my AA degree! (Associates of Arts- General) Yay! It took me about 10 years to complete it, but better late than never.

Favorite music: Anything popular that's on the radio, except rap and country. I like oldies music, classical, pop.

Instrument: I used to play the clarinet and French Horn, but haven't played them in over 15 yrs.

Job: Unemployed. Currently attend college but I don't like school in general.

Plans for the future? To move out of my parents home, to travel.

Any comments? The title of the site ("Wrong Planet") sums up how I feel about the world. It feels like I was born and raised on the wrong planet. People around me are indifferent at best, and some people are downright cruel and abusive to me for no reason, and I've been bullied all throughout school. I long to be in a community where people are actually kind and loving towards me. There's a wise quote that reads: "The opposite of love isn't hate, it's indifference." Many things which for me are challenging, confusing, exhausting, are the same things that are easy and 2nd nature to other people around me. It's frustrating. I've never been diagnosed with Asperger's, just with social and generalized anxiety disorders. Oh, and I don't have any friends, which I think is abnormal, since I see everyone else in college with a group of friends.

When were you diagnosed?(skip if you don't have a disorder): Diagnosed with AS in 2003, when I was 11.

Favorite subjects: Math, computer science, physics to an extent

Year/Grade: In college for 2 years (guess that makes me a sophomore)

Books: Mostly non-fiction stuff, never could get into reading as a kid.

TV shows/Movies: Not really into TV. I don't have one in my room, and my Internet connection's too slow for streaming.

Instrument: I would probably go for a piano or other keyboard instrument, if I had space in my room and wouldn't get berated for playing while someone else is trying to sleep/watch TV/browse the Internet/do anything.

Do you like sports? Not really.

Family: I live with my mom and sister, both NT. My dad supposedly has AS as well, but I don't live with him. I tend to distance myself from my family, they all treat me like an outsider anyway.

Clothing: I think I still dress like a teenager. T-shirts, jeans, sneakers, and beanies form my wardrobe, along with a hoodie on cold days.

How did you find this website? Forgot why, I've known about this site for 4 or 5 years. But back then, I was in denial about having AS, so I didn't join until later.
