Ike is absolutely ADORABLE! What a sweetie, PostPaleo... of course, at my place I don't dare say "treat" out loud, lest I get mobbed by the pitbull and her best buddy.

Sheesh. 400 pages?! Wow, folks.

Whoa! Looking at my last couple of posts I should have gone to bed a little sooner!
But happy belated 6000 thread-posts, 400 pages, and 2000 posts to Lauri! :D
I always try to make it to Party Hat, Bar-B-Que, and Flipper Parties on time, but work prevented it.

This is me at my first such party, cold Lake Michigan, 1959, using my own flippers, and sans party hat. You can tell by my belly I have already had my fill of Bar-B-Que:

(kinda explains a lot about a lot of things as regards my present state, eh? )
(I was actually following in the footsteps, ...er, butt bounces..., of my gurl Merle, who by this time had escaped her harness and begun her singing career... :D

(oh yeah! I was a n-o-r-m-a-l kid! SURE I was. :? ...and no one had a clue? I was just stupid and lazy. Yeah. That's it.)

There are many children that get around that same way. My youngest son, my cousin and 4 of my previous dayhome children all did that.

I think it's a conspiracy! You all slow down... and refuse to post, so that page 400 doesn't happen at the weekend... then you lull me into a false sense of insecurity for another two days...

Next... the spy makes sure that I nod off to sleep at the right moment (5am haere) and you all fill up the pages and leave me with this tail end of page 401.

It's not fair (and the beer hat wasn't loaded).

I'll go and sulk.

Why don't I ever get to be at the party?

I may never wear my pink tutu again - it holds such sad memories....

This could be the happiest un-400th page day of them all! :) But I feel bad for Krex, who was rarrin' to go, and for cosmiccat who had all those great hats picked out. So maybe this could be a party period, which actually began yesterday, and extends until we wear out. Sort of.
Butt bouncing is of course optional, except for Ike, who wags his whole body and can't help it.

:shameonyou: You should NOT have tied their arms behind their backs Lauri. Tsk. Tsk.

How many times must I tell you? Do NOT tie their arms behind their backs. And do NOT handcuff their arms behind their backs. And NO leg irons. Or gags. Or body casts.

Earplugs for yourself are optional. :D
(Chuck picking on Lauri  , who would never do such a thing. Except to the 6 above named kids. But no one else mind you!)(Just kidding! Just kidding!! !)(Chuck looks left and right for an approaching high velocity BIG stick...)

Oh, there are days! There are definitely days when the mp3 player gets ALOT of use. And today will be one of them. Are you sure I can't just use one little gag and a teeny pair of handcuffs??? :? Maybe just for a minute! :)

(JUST A NOTE THAT BLESSEDMOM DOES NOT NOR HAS SHE EVER USED RESTRAINTS ON ANY CHILDREN!! !)

Using a big stick on Chuck is another story all together!! !!

Hello Chuck and Lauri. I have the day off from work. Just checking in on the Cafe - amazing, isn't it?! This is a place where friendships are beginning... and evolving. Wonderful to see, and a good lesson for me.
