xalepax- I am on photobucket- I can't simply cut and paste because they are ghosted- I usually flail for a while and then achieve success entirely by accident-

I understand what you mean but its weird, because photobucket use to have a convenient function where you can just click on the "direct image link" and then the full address comes with you to later post into the image codes on the forum...

Your latest attempt looks like this:

its supposed to look like this within the image codes:
with the http as the full address to Photobucket and your name there and your album and the name of the photo..

But its great you managed to post your photo. I like your photo. You look very friendly and deepthinking. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks xalepax- I have difficulty following written instructions-I think I have hyperlexia-when I try to slow down my mind wanders-the best way for me to learn how to do something is to have someone physically show me and then I get it. Thanks for your input

I have also difficulties to follow written instructions, well instructions at all. So I keep trying and trying for myself until it finally (never) works
I have actually never heard about "hyperlexia" before. Is that opposite to dyslexia? What is clear is that something is wrong with me and reading too.

You know, I have to tell you. I edited my post above. I wrote "You look like someone you want to be friend with" but then I took it off.
I dont know what scared me when taking it off, maybe the thought "maybe she is not"...but now I changed my mind.
Because even if we never becomes friends then I realise you might appreciate the phrase anyway!

I have made an account at photobucket.com, dragged the picture into one of my replies, but no one but i can see it?! Weird, but it would be nice if you could tell me how to drag the picture straight into my replies

xalepax I do appreciate it! I'm always worrying about how the things I say will be taken too. Hyperlexia is when you can't help but read very quickly but you don't retain the information. I was reading before school but not amazingly early like some. According to a book I'm reading it's a right brain thing and dyslexia is a left brain thing.

Well you cant "drag it straight into your replies" without first copy the direct image link from photobucket. Then click on the image button here on the forum (the one with the sun and the mountains, next to YouTube)
there you paste the link in, and when posting you get to see your photo along with your reply.

If anything is unclear to you I can make screenshots for you, simply explain in photos

strangely, every time i click the image button, a text box with "URL" stuff just shows http . i think i need some much more detailed explanation

yes and in this box you have to paste in the full address to the host of your photo. In this case photobucket. You have to include all parts of it, from the beginning to the end otherwise it wont show up.
I bring on my example here again of the full address that needs to be included>

It has to start with the http and ends with jpg
