Yes, I'm fine. The worst of it was in the wee hours of Friday morning. My hear kept racing, and I couldn't sleep until about 7:00 am. This was after only about 4 hours of sleep the day before! I researched my Chinese Medicine book, and found out that I actually had some herbs on hand to bring down the Mania. So I took them, and calmed down considerably. But it didn't spoil my good mood. I can relate to what you say about your meds. I hate when the drug changes something you don't want to change, just to change something you do.

I forget that you know herbs! :) I'm glad you found something that worked. I've gotten lazy and tend to just take what is the easiest which usually involves pharmaceuticals that work fast (No offense, Chuck! )

There was a time when I only used herbs and aromatherapy. :D And my kids new what the remedies were, as well!

I find that mania classifies as a "Dry, Heating" condition, and the herbs I took re- balance the body. The medicines that I had to take for mania before turned me into a vegetating couch potato, LOL. I don't want that again!

Dang all this mellow music in here. Am I the only one that likes to ratchet up the gears with some heavy duty blood pounding back beat? Best heard with bass boosted and volume on high? Like the lyrics are but another instrument and you just go for the ride? Best with loads of freakin caffeine and nicotine to focus. Gads, an outcast in a boat load of outcasts.

Current music: Three Days Grace - I Hate Everything About You, in repeat mode. Manic me?

Me manic? Nooooo, not me. I deny it, never, ain't so, never happen in this world, gads, make it stop, I want to come home, how many days, I hate everything, must this go on, about you, need coffee, roll another cigarette, manic? whats that? Not me, Noooo, not me. I deny it, never, I hate every thing, why do I love you......

HA!! ! That is my housework, "Holy crap, better leave Mom alone!!" music!! I was a metal/punk girl who played classical music in her spare time. Now I'm just well-rounded. As for the nicotine, don't tempt me!! I've been having the old craving more and more lately. The only thing stopping me right now is the price.

Go ahead and add some "get the blood pumping" music! :D

Les Paul is a god. Father of the reverberating solid body rock machine. Master of the over dub. Fry me with feed back!! !! !

Vietnam calling! I've been trying to get online. I take time to read the posts and everything crashes! So I'm pushing in now.

Naughty, naughty Blessed Mom. Read your herb books again!

I am white, I am fat and I am "rich"! The people here are very friendly but so many are poor. I will have lots to tell when I feel free to relax and talk.

I love the simplicity and the basic lifestyle. But I know that so many live on the streets. And I don't think that going through the markets and being snatched at would be much fun for most people!

I will write again later. I have tried an internet cafe where the equipment didn't work. LOL!

I've been told many times it's a beautiful country. Hope you get to see some of that.

I don't want you to be one, either! You tend to hide away when that happens! We like you here!

I will, Nannarob! I will!

It's sad that some of the most beautiful countries in the world have the poorest people. :(

Any herbs for insomnia? We had a few chilly days here in South Central Pennsylvania, now the heat and humidity
are back with a vengeance. It is now 12:22 AM and I can't get any shut-eye.

I'm sure there are, but what I couldn't say.

Have any Benadryl in the house? 25mg will put me out. Chuck and I did a little test with it a while back, he did 50, he zonked as well. But we were wondering if it had an effect of reducing tinntinitis, it seemed to help some.

The only meds I keep around is Excedrin Migraine, that stuff is loaded with caffeine.
I should keep some Benadryls around as this is the late allergy season.
