I should keep some Benadryls around as this is the late allergy season.

Wish I could be more help.

Chili is a remarkable food to me. Yeah I know, all those with bathroom humor, which includes me, can have a good chuckle. It is very calming to me, not the humor, although that doesn't hurt either. I don't know, but The Wife claims there is something in the chili powder that does it. I am a firm believer that chili can sustain life, indefinitely. I like the dreams I get at bed sleep time, too. I like it for breakfast, I like it for lunch, I like it for super and I like it for snacks. I can eat it all day long and when it is cooked in this house, it is cooked in epic proportion size. I won't let Ike have any, he's bad enough as is. I can always blame him and it's the truth, mostly.

I use Habanero Scotch bonnet peppers whenever I make my five alarm chili.
First you get the flavor then you get the heat.
But my chili needs to simmer in a crock-pot for a few hours so the flavors blend together.

Dang all this mellow music in here. Am I the only one that likes to ratchet up the gears with some heavy duty blood pounding back beat? Best heard with bass boosted and volume on high? Like the lyrics are but another instrument and you just go for the ride? Best with loads of freakin caffeine and nicotine to focus. Gads, an outcast in a boat load of outcasts.
every thing, why do I love you......

Yes, Postie, I know. I am listening to streamed dance music with a heavy, with a beat like you describe. With my noise cancelling headphones, I am probably ruining my hearing. Still highly "alert" but not so manic that I want to run screaming down the street. I got so much writing done, and didn't sleep until around 5 am.

Naughty, naughty Blessed Mom. Read your herb books again!

I am white, I am fat and I am "rich"! The people here are very friendly but so many are poor. I will have lots to tell when I feel free to relax and talk.

I love the simplicity and the basic lifestyle. But I know that so many live on the streets. And I don't think that going through the markets and being snatched at would be much fun for most people!

I will write again later. I have tried an internet cafe where the equipment didn't work. LOL!

Hi, Nannarob! Glad you made it there alright. Hope you have wonderful time!

I find that mania classifies as a "Dry, Heating" condition, and the herbs I took re- balance the body. The medicines that I had to take for mania before turned me into a vegetating couch potato, LOL. I don't want that again!

I don't want you to be one, either! You tend to hide away when that happens! We like you here!

Thank you for that. I like it here, too!

Obnoxious Camel's and Meerkats. Now what does one have to do with the other? Nothing that I can see. Just thought I'd share.

And to much Watermelon Sugar gives me a tummy pain. I thought you needed to know that about me too.

SNARK!! ! *poof*

I finally got some sleep around 3:00 AM. It is a little after 8:00 AM now. I think it was because I didn't work
yesterday morning as usual that whacked out my wake-sleep cycle. A nice vigorous ride on the rail-trail
might get me back in balance.

now, that is a cook after my own heart, Richie.
I love that long simmered aspect of a good 'well married' dish!

who knew chilis had FLAVOR???

I am a real coward when it comes to hot foods. Actually I am a coward towards the anticipation any kind of pain, but can usually bear the pain pretty well ( if bitching and complaining is considered doing it 'well')

I don't mind being a silent martyr as long as everyone knows I am suffering!

But anticipation of pain or discomfort drives my nerves into a frenzy and I become manic. (See all those great words I am learning here! Before I came to WP I would have said drove me crazy and become freaked out, now I have such more precise language!)

I get to go out to the country today and work in a fabulous garden, harvesting some grapes and apples and pears that will grace my lunches and snacks in the next few. Iam also slated to help dig out the garage, but these things need to be done, too.

Juat looked out and this first day of Autumn is gold and green and my toes have just a little nip of chilly. . .the day will broaden out to a glorious sun and the moisture haze will go all golden over the green of the forest.

I am like Antæus, Hawthorne's giant that got stronger every time he touched the earth.

I wish it would cool down here. It was in the 70's for a few days, but now it's closer to 90 again.
