Why are you here? to feel less alone.

When were you diagnosed?(skip if you don't have a disorder): i haven't been diagnosed yet. i'm on a waiting list at the moment.

Favorite subjects: video production, philosophy, creative writing.

Year/Grade: finished college a few years ago and i'm still debating whether going to university for screenwriting is worth it or not.

Favorite music: garage rock, punk rock, goth, post-punk, new wave, 90's hip hop, industrial hip hop, shoegaze, surf rock, psychedelic rock, noise rock, glam rock.

Books: mostly literary work from kafka, bukowski, sartre, neil gaiman, nietzsche.

TV shows/Movies: breaking bad, true detective, the shining, the dreamers, the girl with the dragon tattoo, gummo, the big lebowski, dazed and confused.

Instrument: i don't how to play any, but i love drums and guitar.

Do you like sports? mostly no, but sometimes i'll play frisbee.

Family: 1 mother, 3 older siblings.

Clothing: i'm androgynous so i wear a lot of unisex clothing: t-shirt, ripped jeans, leather or denim jacket.

Why are you here? I want to learn more about my AS, understand what is normal and what is not, and know what I can do to make things related to AS a bit more easier on me.

When were you diagnosed?(skip if you don't have a disorder): Don't remember the exact date of diagnosis, but have dealt with it all my life.

Favorite subjects: Literature, history, video production, writing, performing arts.

Year/Grade: Going into my 4th year of college.

Favorite music: Classic rock 50's-80's (even some 40's music), classic and modern country, classical, film and theatre soundtracks, some Christian and Christmas music.

Books: Top favorite authors are Dean Koontz, Stephen King, Tom Clancy, Clive Cussler, Michael Crichton, and William Shakespeare.

TV shows/Movies:

TV-Home Improvement, The X-Files, Knight Rider, Under The Dome, Revolution, The Last Ship, The Strain, Everybody Loves Raymond, The Walking Dead.

Movies - I really like anything from the most modern releases to the earliest films from the Lumiere Brothers. Favorite Genres are Sci-Fi, Action, Suspense, Classic B&W's, and animation.

Instrument: Never really got into playing an instrument, though have considered learning to play one.

Do you like sports? The only sports I really enjoy playing are Tennis, Billiards, and Archery. I enjoy watching Baseball and Football.

Family: Mother & Father, younger brother, a Mini-Schnauzer, some goldfish, my brother's Beta fish, and my own Beta Fish named Simi.

Clothing: Nothing too fancy, I like things that comfortable, really don't like clothing with vibrant colors, like wearing hats from places I've been.

How did you find this website? Just had a feeling I should see if something like this exists and when I did, something told me to join.

Job: I work at a flower nursery owned by a member of my church, and sell on ebay as a source of extra money (especially during the winter months.

Plans for the future? Transferring from Community College to a 4 year school for a BA in theatre. Want to be a craftsman, or actor. Really make something of myself.

Books: Ray Bradbury's a favorite of mine, also a big fan of the "punk" genres: Steampunk, Cyberpunk, Dieselpunk, Catcher in the Rye (was the only person in my class who liked that book), The Percy Jackson series, Leviathan trilogy, Most Science Fiction
TV/Movies: I don't watch much TV anymore, but old SpongeBob always did it for me. Does anime count, too? Because Cowboy Bebop is up there with my favorites. Movies, though, I have a lot of those. Blade Runner, Die hard, Strangers on a Train, Dark City, Jacob's Ladder, The Shining, Pulp Fiction, Minority Report, Pacific Rim, Midnight in Paris, Elysium (it was okay. I just love the look of the film, and that was kind of it), Silence of the Lambs, One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest.
Instrument: Played the Clarinet for 8 years.
Sports: Never really liked them, though I do run distance from time to time.

When were you diagnosed?(skip if you don't have a disorder): So far I just met with 'We all have Asperger's', or 'Be diagnosed Asperger's if it makes you happy, be transgender if it makes you happy, but PTSD is the underlying cause', LOL.
