Whos in sydney!

anyone wanna meet up/social some time, I don't know if I have ever met another aspie before.

Im in north sydney

edit: Yo seriously PM me peoples or leave a note here. I keep forgetting about this forum and I only check it once a month or so LOL. What do normal aspies like to do? Me, this saturday night I just sat on my PC all night, played some battlefield and counterstrike with the guys online, watched this movie called "drive", listened to some music, and finished writing an essay on aspergers syndrome (YES im serious). An essay for one oif my uni subjects for nursing. (YES HOLY s**t IM DEFYING THE ODDS AND DOING SOMETHING THAT INVLVES ME HAVING TO TALK TO PEOPLE). True stroy: I went and told the lectuerer that I have AS and she almost fell over LOL.

So yeah whos keen to eat some food somewhere as a group and just talk about life or go look at a museum or something.

I just moved to sydney this year and I have baely seen any of it yet So im keen to check out stuff that tourists do.

Any South Australians on here can contribute to a survey for the State-Wide Autism Project whose aims are "To explore the experiences of key stakeholders with autism services within SA, and To identify actual and perceived barriers and facilitators from the perspective of key stakeholders to the delivery of optimum services to people with ASD"

If anyone is interested they can fill in the survey online here.

That is for professionals and not actually people on the spectrum or their parents or both.

Hi There... I am waiting for my 9 yr old son's official diagnosis of aspergers... I was wondering if there are any support groups in or near Ballina NSW?

I just read a forum that wanted to know where Aussie Aspies were from. So, I decided to start a new thread for us (and anyone else interested in Australian things).

So, welcome to all.

I'm also new here and am from sa. 8)

I am almost the perfect aussie stereotype (Excluding being a fairly crazy aspie  ) And ride a kangaroo to school every day. Well that last one was just a dream, but still.

I also have a koala living in my backyard (Literally, it's in the tree!) so I feel I can be a good contribution to this group.

Hey :) I'm from Brisbane 8O.

I'm a 27 year old girl/lady who lives in a faery hollow (small decorated unit with cats) lol....

I'm very new to this site...I'ts pretty interesting with all those quizzes and forums.
I'd love to talk to other Aspies about the highly sensitive thing.....it hurts! lol

Anyway...add me as a friend If you need to vent or talk about anything....:)

What else can we do here?

Peace

Hello!

I'm Alex, 23, Male, diagnosed when I was 7, passionate (alright obsessed) with cars, but mechanical things in general are pretty interesting and always learning about them as well.

Survived a diesel mechanic apprenticeship, left that job due to thinking I was limited in work, turns out I am, but the lack of out of time experience means I'm probably looking to go and study something new instead...
