Clothing: Comfy fluffy things that don't make me 'Itchy'? I dunno. I ripped my Ma's 25 year old jacket the other day from wearing it so often. I mainly wear blue. It's not often you find any black on me - it's a slight trigger. I wear the same brown hiking boots everyday, the same hair clip, the same jacket, etc. Lol.
How did you find this website? I was browsing on my phone and decided to join. At almost 11 PM. I'm not sure if I'm actually lucid in this endeavour.

Plans for the future? Ahhhh. Maybe going to a small college, then becoming a biologist or artist or author - or all three - and living in the Central Coast of California with a companion of some sort? YES. I also plan to never grow up and essentially become my own Little Prince.

Year/Grade: Graduated High school in 2002, one year of fine arts and I've got my interprovincial red seal in welding.
Favorite music: Pretty well listen to anything; I like a lot of hard rock and metal, some EDM; depends really.

Job: I worked as a welder for 10 years and am presently training in a new profession and taking a millwrighting course (done in march!) I seem to have a knack for using the lathe and milling machines, so I'm honestly contemplating taking a machinist course. We'll see though!

Hobbies and Interests: Electronics and other nerdy stuff like that mainly, but I am interested in MANY things.
Why are you here? I don't really know yet... I shall find out... Maybe make some new friends who think like me?
When were you diagnosed?(skip if you don't have a disorder): I haven't been diagnosed yet, but I believe I have Asperger's.
Favorite subjects: In school? Probably Science and Math... And definitely the vocational classes, drafting, electrical, etc.
Year/Grade: I graduated HS in May 1992.
Favorite music: Everything really, but one of my favorite types is anything in the EDM/Techno/Dance genre.
Books: I don't really read books all that much... I usually just wait for the movie to come out, lol!... But, since I am an electronics nerd, I enjoy books about anything related to that, especially speaker building, audio equipment repair, etc.
TV shows/Movies: Again, almost everything, but I generally like the Sci-Fi, Action, and Comedy stuff best.
Instrument: My Mind!
Do you like sports? No, never have. Probably never will... I am not coordinated enough to play any, so I don't get any enjoyment out of seeing anyone else do it either.
Family: Yes; Grandma, Mom, Dad, Sisters, Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, Nieces, etc, but not any kids or GF of my own.

Why are you here? To make friends and learn to help my own real life working with autistic people and families.
When were you diagnosed?(skip if you don't have a disorder): 2 (Mental Retardation), 6 (Autism), 12/13 (Asperger's), need to be re-diagnosed and I think now it will be more accurate as PDD-NoS instead of Asperger's
Favorite subjects: Like In school? well when I was in school Sciences and Geography, a lesser interest in Writing
Year/Grade: Graduated, Trade School (2 years in computer technologies), Some College (had to leave due to "sensitivity reasons/abuse")
Favorite music: Changes (again due to my condition) but like everything besides Country and Rap

Plans for the future?: Growing my charity/non-profit to help as many people as I can possibly do, getting married to the man of my life, maybe even adopting some kids out of a bad situation down the line.
Any comments?: It seems overtime as I got older my condition has gotten worse in some aspects, mostly with sensitivity with light and sound. I have had more and more meltdowns in my adult life then I ever had growing up. I really need to find a way to help them. Also my picky eating habits (more so with food texture then taste) has caused me to gain weight sense my metabolism has been going down as I get older. I try to exercise but its difficult for me (because of heart issues).

When were you diagnosed?(skip if you don't have a disorder): I was only about 3 or 4 when I was diagnosed with autism.
Favourite Subjects: Music Technology and Computer Science
Year/Grade: Year 12
Favourite Music: A strange mix of alternative rock, post-rock, indie, Britpop, progressive rock, shoegaze, dream pop, folk rock, ambient, experimental, noise rock etc.
Books: I only really read manga because I'm a weeb like that. Assassination Classroom is a current favourite. I want to read Death Note as well.
TV shows/Movies: Anime. I love Clannad, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Steins;Gate and Studio Ghibli. I also like Pixar films and old British children's TV shows.
