When were you diagnosed?(skip if you don't have a disorder): About 6 months ago. Finally!! ! I have always known, but it´s very difficult to get help in Sweden.

Favorite subjects: English, music, history, art, psychology.

Year/Grade: Oh...that was a long time ago!

Favorite music: T.Rex/Marc Bolan, The Doors, Sixx A.M, Queen, W.A.S.P, The Cult, Dio, Stryper, David Bowie, Rammstein, The 69 Eyes.

Books: Biographies/Autobiographies, Fantasy, The Bible, Mysteries, Detective/Crime.

TV shows/Movies: The Vampire Diaries, Ghost Adventures, Sleepy Hollow (both movie and TV-show). LOTR/Hobbit, Harry Potter, It´s a mad, mad, mad, mad world, Jurassic Park, Amelie, Star Wars, Indiana Jones.

Instrument: Used to play in a punkband in the late 70´s an early 80´s. Play a bit of everything, guitar, bass, drums, but not really specialized in one particular instrument.

Do you like sports? NOOOO!! !! But I do like to watch parkour sometimes.

Family: I have a 25 year old son and a cat.

Clothing: Comfortable, colors, I don't like formal wear.

Why are you here? We have no therapy, treatment and support of Asperger syndrome in Russia. So, I hope to find some advices and interesting people here.

When were you diagnosed? (skip if you don't have a disorder): Self-diagnosed less than half a year ago. Before that, I'd been researching Asperger's for about a year. I haven't been professionally/formally diagnosed.

Why are you here? Just figured out that I'm almost certainly autistic/aspie/on the spectrum somewhere. I've always known I was odd - hence the username - but it was only last week that I somehow managed to put two and two together and realize that not only am I a fairly particular type of odd, but there's quite a lot of us around, so I'm here for information and community and all that good stuff

When were you diagnosed?(skip if you don't have a disorder): Not yet, but working on it.

Favorite subjects: Don't get me started

Year/Grade: Currently doing a masters in theology.

Favorite music: No way can I be pinned down on that in terms of listening... but if I could sing nothing but Renaissance polyphony one on a part for the rest of my days, I'd be quite happy.

Books: Yes. I'm not a bookworm - worms are slow. More like a bookwyrm. Or a book termite. My mother says that I would read the back of the cereal box at the breakfast table when I was a kid if there was nothing else around, and people laugh, but she's not kidding.

TV shows/Movies: Mostly too overwhelming, but I re-watch the Lord of the Rings every year or so.

Instrument: I can play a bunch, but singing is my main thing these days.

Do you like sports? LOATHED sports as a kid, because I was so bad at them. Discovered cross country running in high school - it was great because I didn't have to be any good, I just had to show up to practice three times a week, and there were a lot of other oddballs on the team.

Family: One husband, one longhaired tortoiseshell cat, and various family members living in the same town.

Clothing: Simple. Warm. I like bright colours, but can't stand busy patterns. Textures are a funny business - I'm not totally averse to synthetics, but some are simply untouchable. Totally allergic to pink, ruffles, and fuss.

Book : I enjoy reading FilmFax magazine. But I don't read books or magazines often.
