I'm not sure what we are supposed to be looking at. What is the "Ten Thousand Plus" club?

Hilarious yes. But worth 800.00 I could spend 5.00 on a used copy of the Kama Sutra and still be way ahead. Shocked

Just occurred to me that I might not want a used copy. Micorobes and all.

You could put it in the freezer for a month. Tha'd kill 'em. Those mico robes. Yup.

I had a copy, the illustrations were really quite beautiful if you looked at it from an artist's perspective, but the ex made me get rid of it when I had the boys.

Why????

Why did I have it or why did I have to get rid of it?

Get rid of it.

He was a real prude. Wasn't impressed that I had it in the first place! He didn't want the kids to find it, but now he has them looking at MAXIM magazines when they are at his house, and has since they were about 10! Between that and his wife's Cosmopolitans that are sitting on the coffee table, my boys are getting quite the education!

(We had a lovely talk about what "real" women look like and how pictures are edited. )

Hmmm. I'm thinking of a highly literate, culturally sensitive, diplomatically correct way to phrase this response as to my opinion of your "ex". And it's going to come out as:

"What a dork!"

I like your new sig also Nan. Big JT fan, (also my maiden name is Taylor, and it's the name I prefer to all others.) Want to change both mine and my daughters back to it when I file for divorce. More paperwork I'm putting off. :D

I have a pile of paperwork I am putting off, too! It just doesn't seem to want to do itself!

I am still thinking about the fund-raising. My friend is in Fresno right now, so I'll talk to her when she gets back this weekend.

I'm a newbie, but seeing alot of youngsters in the new people forum. Hoping to connect with people closer to my age (or creakiness) at first. My daughter (7 yrs.) is diagnosed with autism. We live in a very small town in Mt. Some folks are understanding; most... Not so much. I suspect I have aspergers, but dunno for sure. Both my daughter and I share an equine obsession which we've channeled into helping her with her hurdles. Woo hoo! Some place where they do not automatically assume my daughter is broken, or diseased, or ret*d; she's just wired different. Just reaching out. Glad to have found you!

Welcome! Yes, you found us creaky ones, and I have 4 kids, 16 with AS, 14 (just a pain), 13 with AS and 6 with ADHD, possibly AS. If you ask some of the people in here they would probably tell you I have AS (I probably do) but my diagnosis is ADHD. I'm 39 by the way, almost 40.

Just so that you don't get scared away, there are quite a few unique and wonderful people that post on this thread. Things sometimes move fast and other times are slow. I found I watched the posts for a bit and then just jumped right in. Reika is a good one to ask about the going on's in the cafe from a new person's perspective.

Oh, and Postpaleo would want me to offer you a muffin and your choice of beverage, on the house! :D
