Lau,

Can you make computers?

I was going to say no, but I'll change that to yes!

I understand everything about them, from the smallest to the largest things. That includes the electronics, the mechanical bits, the programming, the chemicals, the energy, and anything else you can think of!

I've designed them, soldered them together, programmed them and used them. :)

The first "computer" I ever made was constructed from 64 pieces of card. I guess that was when I was about 11. It was a logic computer. I was going to describe it, but then I remembered... I still have version two (or maybe three) of it (with 256 pieces of card) here.Image
Forty-two is one of my favourite numbers. It comes from "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" by Douglas Adams.

While digging out the above, I found I had some spare IBM punch cards and some I did for party invites:Image

Hey Daniel,

My son is 7 and is autistic. I may need to get him on here so you all can chat. His favorite thing is World War I fighting plans, like what the Red Baron had. He's in 1st grade. What grade are you in?

I am Daniel's Mum. He is in grade 2. He is exhausted so won't be posting replies until tomorrow.

In fact, I need a personal assistant for Daniel - just to keep up with his 'fans' on WP.

Wow, Ubby, you have a long thread.

I am an Dino-Aspie...And I have heard of Edmontonia!! I am one because I'm old, but I'm still a child. Yeah!

I can't decide if my favorite dinosaur is a stegosaurus or a plesiosaur.

Lincoln logs are small red logs with notches at the ends so you can stack them and make log cabins. You can get roof pieces, and there's different sizes. You can build all kinds of buildings, and I love them, but they don't stay together like Legos.

KBABZ does talk a lot, doesn't he.

By the way, KBABZ, you're a cutie!!

Much fun, Rjaye

Welcome to WP Daniel! I think I talked to your mom and brother already in other threads. Man I've been on here for several days now to and I don't think I have a thread this popular. Your lucky to get Dx'd so early. I didn't find out till I was 18! Those Bionicles are cool. I love just walking thru the toy store and looking at things.

Oh... and KBABZ! (just wanted my first award 8) )

I am UbbyUbbyUbby's / Daniel's mum.

He just got a whole heap of new Bionicle's for his birthday. He assembled them in record time - most adults would have been slower!

Then he threw all the pieces together and has bee making up his own - he is quite brilliant (don't I sound like a proud mum).

So he is 'too busy' for wrong planet now.

He did post a new topic in kid's crater called 'Name My Bionicle'. He is so busy making his own bionicles, he doesn't have time to name them.

Check out this topic to be impressed.
