When were you diagnosed?(skip if you don't have a disorder): 10 1/2 days ago!
Favorite subjects: Enviro. science, geography, data analysis (never leave me anywhere near a blank Excel document.)

Favorite music: Metal, Electronic, Alternative.
Books: Anything by Robin Hobb, Dan Abnett, David Attenborough and Brian Cox.
TV shows/Movies: My current favourite film is Interstellar. Also love The Fifth Element and The Illusionist.

Do you like sports? Runner. I also practice vinyasa-align yoga.

When were you diagnosed?(skip if you don't have a disorder): I'm still in the (long, and tedious, and frustrating) process of getting an official diagnosis (psychologist and psychiatrist).
Favorite subjects: Physics, philosophy, biology & molecular biology, literature, cultural studies, creative writing.

Job: Full-time neuroscientist.
Plans for the future? Move to Tokyo for 1 or 1.5 years, then hopefully move to Norway and stay there for a while. I long to have a place to call my own, give my furry baby (cat) one or two brothers (dogs), collect small useless decorative items, and get proficient in darkroom photo developing techniques.

Why I'm here: I suspect I have some of the features of Asperger Syndrome, although I don't have a formal diagnosis and won't seek one because of my past experiences with people who wanted to set limits on me based on what they saw as signs of a problem. I prefer to continue developing myself and working toward my future without having somebody say, "Oh, you cant do that for whatever reason."
