Aha. So I guess a Boojums is a related species?

A Boojum is blonde and drives a brand new SUV!

The skateboarding dog was astounding. I particularly liked it that, when he crashed, he dragged the board back out and turned it over, to get on and continue.

No, a Boojum is a particular sort of Snark. It was the type that the Baker caught up with, hence his unfortunate end at the end of The Hunting of the Snark - (*poof!*)

Didn't you know? Snarks are sort of hard to find, 'For the Snark was a Boojum, you see.'

oh damn. santa anas. gotta go water the plants and all the other living stuff. and since they've found mountain lion tracks by the park, i think i'll do that while it's daylight out. why ruin the poor carnivore's evenng? ya'll take care.

Santa Anas are wicked. All that sand blowing rubs together and creates positive ions. Now, positive ions sound real friendly but believe me they are not! The winds and subsequent rubbing of sand, etc causes people to have problems 'tuning into' their thoughts and become irritable, irrational and over the top.
Actually that sounds like Southern California!

but you see the cause is geographic, those Santa Ana winds just like the Mistral blowing out of the north sea into the south of France, or the Siroccos out of Libya blowing dust over the Mediterranean, Malta, Italy, and Greece; Van gogh was said to have sliced off his ear during a Mistral.

Don't you just love it when lau and I go snark hunting at the same time?
Didn't know he was raiding the wiki at the same time I was.

*cringe* I thought i was being original in coming up with the connection between Tom Robbins and Aspie. Then Googled and see I'm not the first to have speculated. I want to be the first to make these connections, okay.

Yeesh! Just trying to be silly! I read "Jabberwocky" to lil' girl yesterday. I'm not sure if she's ready for Snarks and Boojums, though.

Your guess is as good as mine and I live in this cafe! I would say it's Nan but she's a Bubba!

Nuh huh. They're dangerous things. Not as fast as a bandersnatch, but dangerous just the same! Ask Postie, he hunts 'em. Yup, uh huh, uh huh, uh huh.

Huh? I dunno. They're in this clutter someplace. Pretty sure I know where they are, least I put them there a year ago. No one would dare move them on me.
