PS Chuck and Postie did it, I'm sure.

I didn't do it. I don't think like that. I don't think. Maybe I just didn't think I did. I think YOU did it with your Texican thinkin.

I figured you just decided to have a Texas style Bar-B-Q. You just decided to have one big enough for Southern California. Good job, Texas is proud of you. I see you even got a fellow Texas goat roper to drop by. He come to your house?

I dunno about Chuck, I think he might be lookin for Injun Joe and his buried treasure in his caves. I hope he remembered to leave muffin crumbs or leave a trail of string.

Lurking no more...

Hi y'all,

I am on vacation, use it or lose it...but you cant take any during "black out days",the two weeks around Thanksgiving or Christmas,so I picked my "birthday week and halloween",so I can watch scary movies all week.I loved Vincent Price growing up.I used to sneak out of bed(never could sleep as a kid)and watch him on the LAte,LAte movies as well as 70's movies about reincarnation, witchs, egyptain curses,The blob and a bunch of other spooky stuff. My mom could never figure out why I would wake her around 4am,screaming from nightmares.(Her comfort didnt help, when she had been in many of them 8O ).I dont actually think the nightmares were because of the movies but about going to Jr High the next day....much scarier.

Nan,I have been watching the news and glad you are safe.I'm sorry you are having to spend you vacation on this horror. It does make me appriciate MN....few fires,no earthquackes or volcanos...just a few blizzards and most of the tornados are south of here and the flooding more north-west.This place feels pretty safe(but I still have ny energecy bag and cat supplies packed, just in-case.

My ipod crashed this week,I accidently erased 6,000 songs from my itunes and my computer has been "actin up" a bit.Spent the last 3 days being "techy" and I think I actually fixed everything(except I still ahev to reload my back-up disks of music and windows is telling me I dont have "permission"....maybe because I burned them on another log in(one I can no longer access)?Right now,I am in "love-hate" with technology.

I want to buy some more memory for my HP notebook.I saw a nice one for $109(160GB)potable and $199(500GB)with some other nice features(a softare to back up current computer)....Question.Where should I get them...on-line harder to return if there are problems(only 3 month gaurentee on software) but cheaper then local stores? They say they come with their own hard-drive and can be used "independently"...what does that mean? Can I store movies in them and then plug it into my ipod to watch at work?Or plug them into a VCR or TV(we have both at work?)I will loook for a link to see what you all recommend.

Lau, thanks on two counts: one, you keep me honest; and two, you've reminded me of something I need to put in my memoir.

I was going to apologise, earlier, to you, because I should have remembered that it would have been a sensitive subject. I couldn't think how to word it - and still can't. :?

And P.S.: I think I might have to lay off the caffeine for the rest of the day. 8O

Nah! Caffeine is what keeps the blood flowing.

Just paid a little visit to the "Sheeple Ranch": http://www.wrongplanet.net/postp984834.html#984834

There are times when I think caffeine is my blood. (Java Vampire)
Glad to hear Nan is OK.

Somewhere in my collections is a laminated poster, the kind you stick up on the wall of your cubicle at work, which has on it a picture of an irritated-looking tiger and the caption, "You caught me at a bad time - I'M AWAKE."

 I guess I worded that wrong which is not surprising considering the mood I was in at the time. What I meant to say was, "I'm a pretty peaceful person until you wake me up early or because I am ready to get up." I am more like one of those small animals that growls and snaps at you and the more fierce it attempts to look the more you say things like, "Awww, look, she's trying to defend her pups. Thats so cute" or "Aww, its so cute when she growls. Just move pick her up and move her out of the way."

Posters like that might help though. Even if it seems like there is no bite to my bark the poster might help deliver the message for me. :)

Hiya Nan and kid. I bet you can't wait to get some fresh air in your lungs!

Hi Rathermousie. I haven't gotten to know you yet. But I think double shifts stink.

Of course, stealing would be against the prayer except for the fact that I was already awake when I found it. Maybe it will improve tomorrow's behavior.
