About this place, Wrong Planet: I find most of the population decent people that are struggling to undetstand RW. Lashing out ocassionally is partly frustration; where else can you do that?

There are power freaks here who are self destructive and seek to destroy others. But they soon become recognised.

Hi, Nannarob! Sorry to hear that you're still under the weather.

Just returned from the grocery store and now that Halloween is over, the Mandarin oranges are on the shelves. I bought 2 big boxes. And this also means that I can pull out my Christmas decorations and christmas music and drive my family nuts with joy and snowmen!!

I've avoided that one by not getting up before 10am and working later at night to compensate. Not always possible, I know, and I may have to try and reset my body clock back to regular hours soon too, for financial reasons!

I'm forever telling Xan not to use words or phrases, especially as an insult! , without knowing exactly what they mean. But (whine) it's just so exhausting! !! trying to chase down the cultural reference for every utterance that leaves yer lips. Doesn't stop me from trying, though....



How does trust feel to me? That's easy. Warm, pleasant sensation that begins in the solar plexus and radiates outward from there.

Distrust? The thing is, I very seldom dislike or distrust people outright. Usually I'm all Vulcan detachment, "Hmmm, fascinating," with the raised eyebrow.

Whoa! I just realised where Stephen Colbert's eyebrow comes from! He got it off Spock! Ha ha ha!

Anyway, so yeah. I used to work with a guy who was the most deceitful, manipulative person I hope never to lay eyes on again, and one time he was trying to convince me why I should become a heroin user. I felt as tense as a compressed spring. Right out to my earlobes. Unforgettable sensation.

Will start feeling funny as soon as the sinuses begin to behave, I quit having fevers, all the deadlines at work are met, and they tell me they're joking about us being in for more Santa Annas this weekend. {sigh}

Who to trust?Sometimes I get a "gut reaction" and follow it but mostly I am oblivious and a very bad judge of peoples intentions.So I bounce between paranoia and blind and utter trust of everyone.
