Oh Krex, sadly it is you you doesn't get it. I don't need to be made to understand anything. I'm smarter than most people here anyway. The fact that others don't understand doesn't mean I'm wrong. And have no idea what the NT stuff you keep going on about is all about. You keep saying I say things I never have. Are you on drugs?

yeah, Sapphix can say what ever she wants, of course, but just wanted to be on the record she didn't speak for me.

"I am smarter then most people here"...is that an example of the arogance of aspies that keeps offending you?

the fact that others dont understand doesn't mean you right either.(not logical)

I know you dont understand the "NT stuff I keep going on about",that doesn't make me wrong either(using your own logic)

Yes I am on drug.Caffien, synthroid, effexor, nicotine and suger(which acts as a drug in my system.)Being on drugs doesn't make me wrong either,(but it might account for my poor spelling and grammer....the court is still out on that one.)

Okay, Merle, I will only speak for myself, point taken. But actually I was including Gromit in the "we" because I know he understands and can see through Inventor's attempts to start a fight for no reason and then launch into a well-written, weasly attack about things that have absolutely nothing to do with me. So I don't know what his strategy is, but it's mean and uncalled for. Period.

No, its a simple fact. Like saying my hair is brown. That isn't arrogance. Arrogance is when people speak to me without knowing me and assume that I'm stupid, that I need to be told stuff that I already know (plus a bit more, because their knowledge of it is superficial) and then telling me I'm not being a good girl by shutting up and listening to them! That is condescending and arrogant.

I would be interested to see the data you have to support the position that you are indeed "smarter than most people here". (I'll take the hair color as read - besides, proving that one would require sequencing your DNA, and I don't think I'm up for that this afternoon...)

"The 'Psychopathy' term which Hans Asperger used when he published his findings in 1944 to describe Asperger's Syndrome must not be confused by the use of the term "Psychopath" over sixty years later by the worldwide media. Though it is true that some similarities between the two conditions do exist, there are vast differences, many of which are listed on this page. The term "Sociopath" is rapidly replacing Psychopath nowadays.

The most prominent symptoms of a Psychopath is antisocial behavior, having no conscience, being highly manipulative, being a fluent and convincing liar and being superficially charming.

Both a Psychopath and someone with Asperger's Syndrome have been known to make comments which upset other people, though with a Psychopath it is often calculated to be upsetting and hurtful, or they may not care one way or the other that they have upset someone else's feelings. Someone with Autism or Asperger's Syndrome will say such things because they don't understand the invisible but complex rules governing social interaction that Neuro-Typicals take for granted."

The snippet that I posted headed "boundaries" was something I thought was useful, meaningful and writen with love for the people on this site. The content was not rude, attacking, harmful or insensitive. It was simply given from the love in my heart.

The response that Inventor wrote to it was purposefully attacking me, nasty and indeed, even totally misrepresenting the facts of what I had said. It was defensive and then aggressive. My post, which was written as my general world view that I was sharing with general site, did not warrant that. Krex's subsequent ramblings (also not related to anything I had said in my post) were condescending and confrontational.

That's it. No more explaining to do. Its very simple and clear and even though it doesn't state on any official sites that AS is recognised as a lack of conscience, if that is a requirement, then I'm most definitely not. And if some AS here have comorbidity of Psycopathy, they should seek help for the latter at least.

You insist on going on about this.

You've made me look back at where you started - http://www.wrongplanet.net/postp998552.html#998552.

Inventor, I will repeat (below). Do with it what you will. Take it or leave it. Its there when you are willing to open your heart and hear it. If you don't hear it, it doesn't mean that I'm wrong  ...
(Why the "laugh out loud" smiley?)

That was a post that I found mildly distasteful. I hadn't even realised that you seem to be saying that you've cross-posted it to get Inventor to re-read it?

You do not speak for a majority.

No, Inventor cross post, not me. Instead of replying on the "boundaries" post, he brought his retaliation here where it was seen out of context. That is why I had to post it again here otherwise none of it would make sense.

The laugh out loud smiley was the absurdity of me saying just 'cos you don't get it doesn't mean I'm wrong. I was laughing at myself.

I am well aware that I don't speak for a majority. The We that i slipped in when I usually say I referred to me and Gromit.

If you found the Boundary post distasteful, then it would appear that having a heart is considered distasteful on this planet.

Since a lack of heart is the territory of the psychopath, not the AS:

'Whilst many Psychopaths are very intelligent and gifted people, you can't deny or dispute that, they are also time bombs and you are best off keeping away from them. Unfortunately you will never know that unless you ever get involved with or meet one, and then when you realise it is too late."

Considering the amount of comorbid diagnosis on this site, the possibly misdiagnosed AS instead of psychopath, the blurriing of all sorts of other stuff including NTs, researchers etc....the site itself is a psychological time bomb waiting to explode. And seems the majority on here are even confused as to what is AS and what is NT. Its a farce. In far too many acts. I bow to some of the gems on my way out BlessedMom and Nan and Nannorob, and Lemon and Sinsboldly and Gromit....you are dear souls who do not deserve to be represented within this madness. I know you have hearts. But hearts will not last long here. They will be eaten and spat out and the blood stains left where your avatar once was!

I am glad you recognise that. When do you plan of starting to "seek help"?I hope it is soon because you dont seem to be aware that your passive aggressiveness towards members here can be percieved as just more bullying(even if it does "come from your heart")and if you think my posts are condescending rambelings perhaps you are being influenced by your own perception of yourself as a "victem" rather then as a possible oppressor? Some people jump right from "not being assertive" to being "passive aggressive" with out even making a pit-stop at assertiveness. The "attack" you percieved from myself (and I think Inventor),appears to me to be based on a perception of yourself as a well meaning ratoinal being offering information(opimions)about reality that will inlighten us all.Whenwe offer our opinion we are accused of being hostile because it differes from your own.

Who is being condescending to whom?

The atmosphere in the Cafe is definitely giving me a queasy stomach. Why can't people just agree to disagree, without making such strong arguments in which somebody has to be wrong, and somebody right? Peace, please!

The workmate (using the term "mate" very loosely) who wanted to get me started on the smack was a psychopath in the classic sense of charming & utterly ruthless. I didn't know, and didn't want to know, about his neural architecture.

Anybody got any recommendations for clogged synapses? Euch, must be the weather. :?

Goodness, I have to question your concept of us as some sort of New Age Aztecs lusting for blood sacrifice for the favor of the ego gods!

This ExCafe has been carefully built up this into this haven of muffins and tea and a serving of Latte or two. It is here we feel safe enough to mention the tension we sense in the energy of our little hide away from the grind of the rest of WP. It is here we have shared our lives and videos and songs and holidays and inner most chat of cats and children and philosophical pharmacy, in the year we have been posting, we have become friends. People will defend their turf no matter how welcoming they will be.

I am sure everyone wishes for you the same pleasant shelter of The ExCafe, Sapphix. as they have enjoyed it themselves.

Merle
