While I have a bunch of "normal" obsessions, for a couple of years I was obsessed with the line that separates the top of buildings and the sky. I talked about it a lot and tried to rationalize my fascination with other people. I find myself staring at them every now and then, but it was quite pervasive when I was younger. Also, I've been obsessed with rusty (or otherwise weathered) metal for most of my adult life.

Can you explain this a bit, please, Tim? I don't want to assume I know what you mean, cuz it sounds interesting, especially as far as obsessions go...

My current obsession is the Final Fantasy series. I'm not obsessed with anything else, but Final Fantasy at the moment. I am kinda obsessed with violent video games, but not as much as Final Fantasy. I guess you could also say I'm obsessed with Samus Aran from the Metroid video games made by Nintendo...

Just the fact that people were willing to step out of what "society" expected of them, and just go with their feelings on things.

Tim

- Domestic cats & general feline behavior (my longest and most intense obsession since childhood)
- weather (I used to watch The Weather Channel for HOURS as a kid)
- Abnormal Psychology (it's always good to understand oneself!)
- Elizabethan England history (approx. 1555-1602)
- Penguins!
- Pandas! (I love all animals, but I have a preoccupation with cats, pandas and penguins)
- Ancient literature & religions (Egyptian, esp.)
- Ancient civilizations & artifacts
- Archaeology (manifested as an intense obsession with Dinosaur bones as a child, now I am preoccupied with studying Ancient cities like Pompeii)
- String Theory
- Hello Kitty
- Japanese culture (Geisha, esp.)
- Musicals & their soundtracks (lol)
- putting phrases into parenthesis, apparently :P

My 13-year old Autistic cousin has the same darn obssession, is that not ironic?

OMG... I have seen every episode of Full House. Every. Episode. At least 4 times.

I dare not tell any of my friends. They would never let this go.

Kittenfluffies,

What is your favorite type of cat? I love them all, but my favorites are tabbies and Siamese. I especially love Lynx (tabby) point Siamese.
