I think a person's avatar says a lot about a persons likes, thoughts, beliefs etc.. though it is hard to say what exactly.

Zen Mistress, yours, of Ganesha, Lord of Success is entirely appropriate. We could all use a little help in that area.

I'm not sure what you're avatar represents - it kind of looks like a stuffed dog I had when I was little, but yours seems to have a beak. Oh, a penguin? If it was set up as a mugshot, with a side view, it would be easier to recognize.

My avatar shows several things which I like: Tux (this is my favorite plush Tux), Linux (the computer runs Gentoo Linux and is emerging something) and coffee. Originally, the picture was for a demotivator and the text was: 'No pictures - or I'll peck your camera apart.

Thanks for the help, lau, my brain makes too many visual associations sometimes. Hey, I think I'll get out my jewelers loop and do that maze on your avatar.

Coffee is good. Why don't you put the demotivator text back in? It's funny!

I never thought about my avatar having an influence on how people see or respond to my posts. Anybody see my nine tailed kitsune from Naruto as negative?

I find it kind of scary, like the Balrog in the Mines of Moria, ya, a dog-faced Balrog.

Because avatars have a maximum size of little more than 100 pixels height and width. It wouldn't be possible to read it.

Thanks Zonder. I hope EVERYONE of you know that the man with the hat is the "blackhat" of XKCD. In this particular episode he is being particularly mean, and so his victim robs his hat. Pwnd blackhat, pwnd!

I take it back. Maybe not so whimsical and fun. I have to start reading more comics.

Im afraid that I just picked one from the list of avatars available - I tried uploading something else and it didnt work. But i like this one anyway. I have a penchant for round things and I like smily faces. Not sure it reflects my real personality though - perhaps more who I would like to be.
