I changed my hair to feel a bit more summer-y a week or so ago.
The photo doesn't really do the color justice; its a combination of orange/pink/coral.
I actually feel decent about how I look for once in a long while, though I still haven't figured out the 'happy medium' between Aspie stare and goofy smile in photos.

I like your hair, if you don't mind me saying you look better with the glasses on.

can you tell me how you avoid acoustic feedback with that speaker next to your 'table?

Haha, good question! I haven't gotten around to hooking up the bottom speakers, so don't know if that will be an issue. I've only had to deal with acoustic feedback once, and that was at a bar, and someone else resolved the issue. Do you know how feedback is fixed?

the only solution is isolation. isolation can be accomplished via space/dispersion, via mechanical separation [springs in the turntable suspension], via acoustic absorption by "bass traps" and via electronic cancellation with another similar-sized speaker wired antiphase in the nearfield path between the bass resonance source speaker and the turntable. in all likelyhood you may find a combo of all those techniques is greater by far than any one of them alone. that was the best I could find.

I see. The speakers are standing on super-heavy speaker stands designed specifically for isolation. I'll keep my fingers crossed that they do the trick!
