6' 7"+ seems pretty damn tall to me.

if you fell from that height you would not be injured unless you have a seriously powerful sense of "pride", so why bother commenting on it?

that was a rhetorical question and i require no answer from you.

I always get responses like this. Most are guys who are taller who let it know to stroke their ego. Sad...

I wish I was not this tall because most people are afraid of me or look at me like an alien when I come into a room. Also, I can't sit in a small car. It's more of a nuisance than a plus.

People are afraid of you because you're so tall? That's so dumb. Tall guys are awesome--they can get things from high shelves and change lightbulbs without using a small ladder.

Not everyone feels uncomfortable around tall. I have a close dutch female friend who's 4+ inches taller then me! I also lived in Iceland a year and had to stand on tip toes to use the urinal. Now those people are bloody tall!

People have told me I can come across as being a tough guy and that they should be afraid of me but I am as gentle as a giant can be. I even don't kill bugs in my house. I feel sad when I see a fly get swatted. I can't even play as a bad character in a video game.

But when I say that it sounds like I let people walk all over me but that is not the case. I don't take sh*t from anyone. I have had my fair share of fistfights in the past with people who were just a*sholes. I can't handle injustice and if I see it I just snap and help the ones that can't defend themselfs. Even if they outnumber me, I just snap when I see someone get bullied or things like that. Maybe people can see this in my eyes? I have had multiple people tell me I have the eyes of a tiger when I am angry. Defending innocent or people that can't defend themselfs just feels right to me. Like it is my purpose. It's really strange.

Most tall people I have known in the past were jerks and used their tallness as power. With great power comes great responsibility and those people don't take the responsibility that they should (favorite Spider-Man quote).

Ironically enough... most guys who are taller, let it be known... not to stroke their ego... as we share the same concerns and problems that you do... We share it because we want to belong to an elite group... of tall people... JUST LIKE EVERY OTHER HUMAN ANIMAL ON THE PLANET.

I am not sure why you feel it is to make you feel lesser... However... at 6'9", it was only my intent to attempt to connect with someone who understands things like the top shelf in the bottom part of the fridge being no man's land because you can't even see it from up there... Not to make you feel shorter.

I am sorry that it touched a nerve, and still more sorry that it sparked some of the commentary that it did.

I can be very cheerful, make funny noises and things like that. I love scaring people. To say I am happy is far from the truth, I wish I was but thanks for the compliment.
