TV shows/Movies: Don't even get me started on movies, but my favorite is Sunset Blvd. I also love Citizen Kane, The Usual Suspects, the original Star Wars trilogy and virtually any Woody Allen film

Instrument: I used to play trombone, but stopped when I switched schools. I love guitar, though.

Do you like sports? I can't say I really care for them. I'm into more intellectual pursuits.

Family: I'm an only child... of two baby boomer parents. I used to be the youngest by about ten years, until my cousins had babies. Either way, not counting the newborns, I'm the youngest by about nine years or so in my entire family. When I was going into first or second grade, my cousins were already in college or midway through high school.

Clothing: Simple, usually dark in color... because it looks on me, not because I'm goth.

Do you like sports? Yes, but did you want me to be more specific. I do not watch television and therefore do not follow team sports. I run, cycle, climb, paddle and skydive.

Family: Parents living and divorced, Two siblings: older brother, younger sister all NT. I can recite my family tree going back 10 generations and include all extended members. Married for convenience, sex and money. There is no romance.

Clothing: Solid colors, no patterns, for comfort not fashion I do organize all my clothes by type and color.

Plans for the future? Research into aspergers and if unable to develop a procedure that cures it entirely, develop genetic testing to allow positive and decisive diagnosis as well as 'therapies' to aid those individuals to work around their condition

Why are you here? Because I need to be around people who speak my language. I feel like I can't relate to anyone outside of my boyfriend and a few friends who are either Aspies or just very accepting and open people.

When were you diagnosed?(skip if you don't have a disorder): I have not been diagnosed with Asperger's yet but I am almost 100% certain I have it. I have been diagnosed with PTSD due to a childhood trauma.

When were you diagnosed?: Asperger's Syndrome diagnosis is due on 15th February, looking forward to it.

Favorite subjects: Hate them all, sadly. School was tough, I used to enjoy learning, but school killed that joy pretty quickly.

Favorite music: Extreme metal, noise music, basically anything that's technical, dense or challenging.

Hobbies and Interests: Um, this one's almost an essay question. Motorcycling, shooting, science fiction, science, computer games (notably Homeworld and World of Warcraft); aspiring writer (struggling with a deep block), poet when the words come, frustrated when they don't, ... I could list interests for a long time. It'd almost be easier to say what I'm not interested in (a list that starts with most team sports, most network TV, country music, and religion).

Why are you here? Um ... an accident of birth? the Universe has a warped sense of humor? Because I'm not over there? All of the above?

When were you diagnosed? (skip if you don't have a disorder): I was finally diagnosed with Aspergers and post-traumatic stress disorder in September 2006. My therapist says I've probably had PTSD since I was about 18 months old.

Favorite subjects: Oh, I'll talk about pretty much anything as long as it's an intelligent conversation on a subject I know at least something about. ...Or did you mean school subjects? I was always a science geek. Especially physics. Unfortunately my math aptitude wasn't strong enough to support going into physics.

Favorite music: Probably progressive rock and EBM, but my musical tastes are almost absurdly eclectic.

Books: I have a library of about a thousand books, 95% of which are either SF/fantasy or non-fiction. For specific books, I suppose Tolkien's Lord of the Rings and their companion volumes (the Silmarillion, etc) have always been among my favorites. My favorite authors include David Drake, C. J. Cherryh, Jack Chalker, Robert Heinlein, David Weber, William Gibson, Bruce Sterling, Steven Brust and Glen Cook, among many others and not in any particular order.

TV shows/Movies: I really don't watch much TV. Too much of it is mindless drivel.

Do you like sports? I have some interest in individual sports such as motorcycle and F1 racing, and competitive target shooting. I was effectively shut out of team sports too early and too thoroughly to care in the least if they all vanished off the face of the planet tomorrow ... or yesterday.

Family: Yes, I have a family. I'm married, with three kids (two of them biologically mine), and to be brutally honest, I am utterly miserable in my family. I keep telling myself that sooner or later, it has to get better.

Clothing: Comfort trumps fashion every time. That said, black is always in style. I like a little swashbuckling flair now and then.
