Are there any otherkin out there?
Done. Irrelevant. You're also preaching to the choir when it comes to Celtic folklore. Slàinte!

/sigh, i dont see anyone attacking christianity in this way... you can replace the word otherkin with christianity and/or other 'official' religions and get the same effect. IT IS ALL A BELIEF. if you believe that you have a spiritual connection to another animal, then, psh, go ahead and believe in it. no one had any right to tell you you dont, just as no one has any right to tell you your religion is a lie if your christian. granted, im an atheist, but i dont go around tell christians that theyre stupid and deluded because they worship god and jesus. sure, i find the whole bible to be a bit flimsy, but you know what? thats why i personlly dont believe it. im not going to fault anyone for believing the bible, so im not going to fault anyone for believing they have a spiritual connection to anything.
now, on the topic, id like to learn more of this im usually very fascinated by other peoples beliefs

You're looking in the wrong threads, in the wrong forums, or on the wrong website entirely. Try www.randi.org sometime. Use their search function to find "The War On Christianity." You may see something familiar.
Believe as you will, but be prepared to have your beliefs questioned ... or denied outright.
As long as people have the right to say that their beliefs are right, then others have the same and equal belief to say that those beliefs are wrong.
You are a rare Atheist indeed.
Neither will I, except when they try to "prove" their beliefs with subjective delusions and strenuous interpretations of obscure and apocryphal anecdotes.
From the Wikipedia entry:
rei
Common creatures otherkin identify as include angels, demons, dragons, elves, fairies, vampires, lycanthropes, and extra-terrestrials, among others.
Outside of their own subculture, otherkin beliefs are often met with disbelief.
Enough said?

i may have missed something here or there in this thread, but i dont remember anyone saying that their beliefs were completely correct. however, i will admit i may have missed something (as i typically do when i read when im being spoken to. the parental unit was rambling while i was trying to read the thread.)

is that a good thing or a bad thing ?

mmmm i suppose so. sounds like something one of my friends was doing a few years ago, but they didnt give it a name and was telling me about some invisable wolf ghosts that were following her around, as well as saying she is physically a wolf and can transform, rather than being spiritually connected to a wolf. i didnt reply to any of this o_o;
