I would say happy birthday to Lauri, but I already have her happy birthday thread going in the general discussion forum.

Til death do us part topic

I had to leave some of the other forums. so many young people talking about death and dying. I know I was talking about it today in one of the adult forums. I compash with some of the posters here. We need a sense of humour though, even if it is of the ironic variety that I have been known to show. :?

Since my earliest childhood a barb of sorrow has lodged in my heart. As long as it stays I am ironic - if it is pulled out I shall die.

I've been outside, working until I could no longer see. Noticed moths were out, and heard a mosquito, so I watched the night sky...
yep, the bats are out of hibernation! :D Saw at least a dozen darting about!! ! Spring's not far off...

Oh no, no ice cream and cake. I'm all caked out from last week. My dad and mom took me and the kids out for Chinese food for supper. It was a great day!! :D

YAY!! ! A rainbow!! We had cold and gray all day. But at least it wasn't a blizzard like every other year. :D

And I love those trees!!

Thank you, Sis!

Getting closer to getting clip art here.

Happy Birthday Laurie! May the next 40 be twice as good!

Robyn

I learned today that I share my birthday with Dr. Seuss. That cake hat is too appropriate!!

I would do the birthday punches thing, but I'm more of the hugging type.

I would give blessedmom a hug and a kiss for every year she is old, but I think her husband would want to return the favor with birthday punches aimed at me.

So I'll see if I can find a song Lauri might like for her birthday

8O No hugs, please. I have an aversion to being touched, hugged or kissed by anyone other than my family members and even that is questionable on some days. I am mostly an Aspie, remember. 40 smiles will suffice. :D

I guess that's something I don't understand about me. I go the exact opposite route and love to be hugged but can't stand being touched on the back. I used to seriously not like being touched, though, even to be hugged, and I am sensitive to the touch on my hands.

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

How's that?
