Hey guys, this is Marino!

I am almost 16 years old (my birthday is 6/9) and I live in the Greater Boston Area, Massachusetts. I was born in Campinas, Sao Paulo, Brazil but I moved to the US when I was only one year old.

Ever since I attained sentience I have been inquisitive and curious about the universe and all things science. I think the scientific mind is in my genes since my mother is a Nurse Practitioner and my father is a Neurosurgeon. I will graduate high school in 2011 and I plan to go to Northeastern University and dual major in Cognitive Psychology and Information Science. My ideal career is a Computational Neuroscientist and develop BCIs, Brain-Computer Interfaces in either a research institution or a company.

I am an atheist, secular humanist, naturalistic pantheist (scientific spirituality), and my philosophy that gives meaning to my life is Transhumanism/ Extropianism / Singularitarianism.

I think that is enough about me for one post. :lol:

If you're from Massachusetts, why not try to get into Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T)?

if you can get into MIT, you'd be much better off going to UMASS and getting scholarships and internships up the wazoo the there. You'll get a better job that way.
