Hello everybody I'm new here I'm BigDoubleK, My real name is Kyle, I'm 16 and I have Aspergers. My life has been tough, my father died in 2005 when I was only 11 and I was only in 6th Grade, and then in 2007 my dad's dad died but he was 91, I was 14 and I was in 9th Grade at the time. I am 6'6 1/2 feet tall and it is hard being a tall aspie because being tall makes you stick out and makes you differnt than the majority of people but being a aspie too makes me stick out even more and seem differnt to the kids in my High School. I not had a real friend outside of school since like 4th Grade, and I don't fit in with kids at my school and that is probaly because of my aspergers, and kids make fun of me and have been making fun of me since I was little. I'm going to make more friends this fall when I start my Junior Year in High School by joining a club and hopefuly i will make friends there. I only have my mom and my two sister (22, & 26) to talk to, so because of that I don't feel safe around guys and because of that I only get along with girls because I live in a house of girls.

Don't your sisters who are ages 22 and 26, have any boyfriends or other male friends that you could relate to socially and help
you become less afraid of guys?

Are there any summer activities you can get involve with socially? Why wait until the school year? At 16 years old, it must be
lonely living with just mom and your two sisters.

hi, i hope you do find friends this year. have you thought about the clubs you would like to join? what are they?

Yes my two sisters do have boyfriends and i get along good with both of them but they are both older than my sisters, and I relate better with older guys. And next school year I want to join my school's Year Book Club, which would help me get to know the girls that are in Year Book Club, I already know two of the girls who are in yearbook club those two girls are a year younger than me.

I'm sorry to hear about your dad and granddad... and don't worry, you will find real friends as you go along... ^_^
