Hi! So I'm told it's polite to introduce oneself before you just start talking, but I was planning on just lurking around and checking things out... and then someone said something and I was like "Oh man, I gotta respond!" and so, as usual, I'm doing this in the wrong order.

I figured, instead of rambling on, I'd just fill out the questionaire that was posted in this forum and if anyone has questions, they can feel free to ask. =)

What is your first name? Crystal

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Hobbies and Interests: (TONS) Reading, writing, knitting, science-fiction, reading, more reading, space, the human brain, poetry, watching movies... I'm sure I'm missing some.

Why are you here?: My older sister is Autistic (very "low functioning") and my little brother has Asperger Syndrome, and I just found out that I may have Asperger Syndrome as well. I wanted to meet other people who are somewhere on the spectrum.

When were you diagnosed?(skip if you don't have a disorder): Haven't been officially diagnosed yet. Am probably going to be finding out for sure in the fall.

Favorite subjects: I'm not in school anymore, but I always liked science (particularly biology and physics... I didn't like chemistry because they did expiraments where they blew things up. LOUD NOISES! BAGH!), LOVED English and Literature, liked music, and when I was in college I adored History, Anthropology, and Religious Studies (I'm not religious, but I like analyzing others' beliefs.)

Year/Grade: When I go back to college I will be a Freshman still, sadly. ALMOST a sophomore (stupid part-time classes. =P )

Favorite music: It varies considerably. I like scores and soundtracks somewhat, love music with intricate melodies and DEFINITELY inventive lyrics.

Books: Again, TONS. Right now I'm reading through Anne Rice's "Vampire Chronicles" (again) but I usually dig Sci-fi, fantasy, fiction, and some non-fiction regarding psychology and some religion.

TV shows/Movies: Star Trek is a big favorite. Otherwise, it varies, again, sci-fi, fantasy, etc.

Instrument: I play a little guitar and I am a vocalist.

Do you like sports? NOPE.

Family: What about them? They're out there. I don't have a great relationship with them. No kiddies of my own, but I do have a fiance and a cat. =)

Clothing: I try to wear it regularly, I'm told you can get arrested if you don't.

How did you find this website?: To be honest I can't remember. It's popped up in a variety of things I've studied, blogs I've read, and conversations I've had with people.

Job: Currently working with inventory at a warehouse, but unfortunately it's a temp job.

Plans for the future?: dunno yet. That's why they call it the future!

Any comments?: I don't know, I think I've made a lot already.
