i definently would've gone but I had a funeral to attend that day at 13:00..
if you do have any upcoming events shoot me a pm... i'm pretty much available everyday after the mornings.
edit: i registered, i'll most likely go. i see the beer thing though, if a bunch of people are gonna be getting drunk i'm not too sure it's for me, that's not what this event is right?
Too bad you couldn't make the picnic, the weather wasn't great but it was still a lot of fun, and I met a lot of other local Aspies and members of area autism support community. Fortunately there is another picnic coming up towards the end of the month being held in Lynnwood that members of the group and I will be attending, and if you can't make that one either, there is a big fair taking place in Carnation in early August, both are on the calender on the homepage. To answer your question though, no, our meetings aren't full of drunken Aspies, as comical as that might be those of us that choose to typically just enjoy a beer or two to loosen up, we've yet to have a problem with anyone over-indulging. I literally just got in from our July meeting, we had 20 people including 5 women, that's got to be some sort of record for an AS social group
. I'll be posting some photos from the meet on our homepage shortly, so you can see for yourself what our events tend to look like, hope to see you at one soon!
