Hi everyone,

I'm a 20 year male from NJ recently diagnosed with Asperger's.

I'm way in to rock music, movies. Especially British stuff like The Smiths, Never Mind the Buzz quizzes, Danny Boyle movies.
Since I'm in America it's tough for me to learn about your good stuff so please share =)

There's Aspie group around me that gathers once a week. I'm really scared about going. If any of you go to anything like that please confirm or deny my fears.

Finally, because I'm in college right now, I'd much appreciate any advice or wisdom about getting through it.

Welcome home, WP is a good place to 'hang out' with Aspies. At least some of us will be able to answer your question. I have gone to one Aspie monthly meet up and laughed because we all sat with one chair between us!

I went to an Aspie group once...I was overwhelmed at first. They have people on all different parts of the spectrum. I sat by myself just taking it all in for a while. Everyone left me alone, THANK GOD. Eventually, I talked to someone and the people I talked to were really nice.
