Hello. I'm from near Boston and I'm obsessed with butterflies, moths, hermit crabs, Dir en grey and various other things....

Have a good day.
And I'm 31, female and single and stuff...

Hi, Synesthesia! You've got some pretty cool interests there. Do you have a pet crab? Or collect butterflies and moths? And what other music do you listen to? L'arc en Ciel maybe? (only other Japanese band I listen to  )

I'm not trying to be nosy, just friendly. :D

Hello. I listen to a lot of Japanese stuff, Maaya Sakamoto, Yoko Kanno, Utada Hikaru, various J rock, mostly a ton of Dir en grey because they're my favourite.
I have 4 hermit crabs right now, 1 very large one and some smaller ones.
I sort of collect live butterflies. I had 3 swallowtail crysallises that hatched, several cocoons I bought of giant silk moths and one someone gave me for free that hasn't hatched yet.
I've set most of them free, and one got lost in my apartment.
I also listen to a lot of jazz, classical, metal, all kinds of music.

different colours to numbers, days of the week etc

Wow, I never heard of someone hatching live moths and butterflies before. That's really cool! Where did you buy those moth cocoons (I'm even more surprised that they're available for sale) and were they difficult at all to care for? I always thought that they only lived for a day in adult form but that's probably a myth, huh?

Well, some I got from that bill oehlke fellow, at least one of the lunas. His father sold me the 3 butterflies and I got 3 moths from another site. Giant silk moths don't eat when they hatch and live less than a week. Butterflies are more challenging. You can feed them a sugar water solution or send them on their way when the weather is warm enough. They can live for a few days.
Yup, I have synesthesia. Mine = smelling and tasting music, associating people and abstract concepts with smells, seeing colors in music based on the key of the song and feeling it on my skin. :nemo:
