er. G'day Folks,

I'm Doc, though my Birth certificate reads Ross, I just prefer Doc...
I'm 23, from Sydney, Australia, and was acutally diagnosed with Attention Deficet Hyperactive Disorder at the age of 8, however at the age of 15 I was diagnosed with High IQ Aspergers, unfortunately because of the previous diagnosis, I did not recieve any of the assistance that would have been available to an 'Aspie' growing up.

I am an avid reader, particularly of science Fiction, war and Detective stories (though I swear Sherlock Holmes was an Aspie). I am also a writer/blogger, currently working on both my first book, and my blog which recently peaked 8 thousand views in the 6 months its been in operation XD. When I'm not writing, I enjoy video games, and playing Warhammer 40K. I would say that my 'obsessions' are Naval engagements of WW2 (Pacific specifically) and my lovely partner for 5 years.

While personally I do not play sports, I have been an active Sports Trainer/Medic, for the last 3 years (Where the Doc moniker comes from), a member of St John Ambulance as a First Responder for 3 as well, and is currently in the process of becoming a certified Assistant in Nursing.

While I dont really like talking about myself, but I hope to get to know many of you

Oh I get it now.

I still find it interesting, that after all these years, studying medicine, and in particular Aspergers, just how they missed it, much like how I missed that Joke.

I know a few people from Norway, how is the region this time of year?

That's good, isn't it?

Not to worry that some random person gets insulted and you had no clue why...

despite the fact that we are supposed to be in winter, we have been having temps for well in excess of 23C

yeah i know, we had upto 35, thats like a normal summer day in spain :D

only the sun hits at a much lower angle, im telling you, i rather have 40C shining down at the top of my head, warming the air
than 25C hitting from the side, burning my skin

you must be thinking about the summer night sun, yep. norway's long tho, very long, so in the southernmost, at the lightest point, youll get like a nice evening shadow during the night. up here, youll get like a nice afternoon feel throughout the night, even birds singing (poor birds :D )

up at the northernmost you can actually see the famous "midnight sun"

you can to the south too, only the planet's southern hemisphere is mostly filled w sea. look at a globe, youll see how whats sea in the south is eurasia in the north. i guess argentinean tierra-del-fuego and southern chile would experience midnight sun, but ive never heard about it specifically.
