Not "diagnosed," but one of my shooting buds is an MD, and when I started talking about aspies with him, his reaction was "Gee, Chuck - I thought you already knew..."
I'm genius level, and tend to geek out on multiple things... Over time, everything from dinosaurs (got "lost" at a natural history museum once when I was about four - I knew where I was... ended up chatting with one of the folks who worked in the dino display...) to geology to fishing to shooting to photography, a/v gear (love jazz, blues, bluegrass), computers, what have you, etc... Scored 99th percentile in the college boards on verbal, lower on math/science, mostly because my high school was the pits for the math...
My father is one of the three guys who started the country's first "software only" computer company, my uncle was a rocket scientist, and my mother ran a pathology lab. My sister is basically a high performing neurotypical, my brother is pretty darn weird.
