Hey all, apparently I was misdiagnosed with AS...the new diagnoses is PTSD from childhood trauma, which apparently explains my symptoms and behavior more succinctly. Kinda puts a funny spin on my concept of identity, but oh well.

I just wanted to thank everyone here for their kindness over the past several years. I don't post often, but whenever I do, it is met with friendly, lively responses. So thanks again, and have a happy rest of your summer!

Over and out,
-Foxman

I wrote this same kind of post long time ago and I have just come back (mostly because I just couldn't seem to shake it, even thinking that, because I never got a diagnosis when I was little, that I couldn't have it and I was intruding).

You don't have to be diagnosed to post on here, though. If you're an NT, your insight is very valuable from that perspective!

And you have about as many posts as I do.
I know it is a social faux pas to say this, but I know how you feel!

I hope you get good treatment for your PTSD. Good luck.
