Hello everyone, my name is Jeff. You might have seen my name on here before. I've been a member here since December 4th, 2008. I'm just reintroducing myself in hopes of gaining new social contacts who share similar interests.

I'm going to the University of Illinois at Chicago to study Neuroscience (Psychology concentration) with minors in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. It sounds like a lot of work, but a lot of the Chemistry and Biology classes overlap with my Neuroscience major, so I will only be completing 170 hours total for my B.S. I plan on attending graduate school as well as doing post-graduate studies. My ambition is to conduct research in a variety of different fields related to Neuroscience, especially Neuropsychiatry; Behavioral, Developmental, and Cognitive Neuroscience; and Neurogenetics. I also plan to do a lot of writing, particularly in the biological, social and behavioral sciences.

I have a wide range of intellectual interests and I would love to chat with someone who shares them.

I remember when you first joined. I thought then and still do that what you do sounds cool! Any time you discover something you wish you could tell somebody about, go ahead and tell me. I would love to hear about it.

I don't have the same interests one might think, I'm in electrical engineering but I'd like to get into neural networks. How do you manage your time? I'm full time now but I'm not enjoying the learning so much because I always feel in a rush. I can only study when I have nothing else left to do that day. So, if I've got the morning off but classes in the afternoon, I can't study in the morning.
