Hi.

My name is Tim, I'm 21, and I live outside of Philadelphia, PA. I'm a senior college student majoring in cultural anthropology. I was diagnosed when I was in high school.

Do you ever make it to the suburban Philly GRASP meetings? I go pretty regularly, although it's a bit of a drive from where I live out towards Lancaster.

You're from Lancaster? I go to school at Millersville University.

I haven't been to any GRASP meetings... I've actually never heard of it before. My psychologist out here was telling me about an adult autistic group in Lancaster planning a trip to the Renaissance Fair that I was considering going to, though.

Hey, Tim, I graduated from Millersville. And, a few weeks ago, I was asked to come back as a guest speaker and talk to a class about my experiences with AS.

It was strange going back and talking about it because I wasn't dx'd until I was 23 and when I was at MU, I didn't even know what AS was. But, it was still a pretty cool experience.

You can go to grasp.org to find out about that organization. The next Philly meeting is this Saturday, but it's in Berwyn, which would be pretty far for you. But, feel free to PM me if you want more info.
