Hiya, Recently got an Official Aspy diagnosis

Look at this, just registered on the site and allready posting... I normally lurk for months before I post something somewhere.

Anyhow, I have pretty much known that I was an aspy for awhile now, sense my oldest son was diagnosed Autisic. There just seemed to be some connection between what was going on with him and facits of my life. I've been trying to get this on and off for while and kept being rebuffed by Dr. Seems some people don't want to give a labal to someone who isn't looking for needed help.

Due to some difficulty at work I decided I wanted to get a diagnosis and so got my wife to call a few neuopsychs. (seems my insurance allows me to self refer... go figure) First one I went to did a basic consult and said he didn't see it. Waist of a 2 hour trip. So I went to someone else who did a full neuophych. Lo and behold there is something going on. You how it explains why I've always felt so out of place and it only took 36 years to confirm why. :)

So there goes... I'm saying hi to all of you here and am even using the right forum. Probibly Lurk for awhile... but who knows.
