Hi everyone I've not been diagnosed with anything yet. I firmly believed I had ADD/ADHD but now I'm not so sure. My kids are being assessed by a child psychiatrist and he ran a few tests and observations on me. I scored high on all the ADHD questionnaires and also scored wickedly high on his computer assessment that shows problems with impulsivity and inattention. But he believes I don't fit snuggly under ADHD and is saying I fall under the rather larger umbrella of ASD. Not sure what this means in terms of help and treatment as I'm stuggling to find anything that sums up the differences between ASD & ADHD on the net.

Can you guys help?

Do some searches for ASD and ADHD here and you will find a lot of personal insight and experience.
