I guess this is my obligatory "hello"

My parents revealed they had long-held suspicions I had aspergers recently and they both have backrounds in the psychiatric field but they are not MDs. I thought they were crazy because I thought aspergers was low functioning autism, but they read off the symptoms and I knew that was me. I am currently seeking a diagnosis. I thought that "WrongPlanet" was especially appropriate for me as I actively thought I was an alien until I was about 7. I am currently 23 and male (the latter will remain current) btw.
