Hi, I'm new. (Vancouver, BC, 42 yrs old)

I'm a 42 year old, gay, male Aspie (gaspie?). I also have Tourette's Syndrome.

My diagnoses came as a young adult, but most of my coping strategies developed in childhood, so I don't feel especially restricted from day-to-day activities, provided I manage myself appropriately.

My partner of 18 years is NT, and gets frustrated by some of my behaviours:

"James, you're a lousy communicator!" ---well, duh! :wink:

but we're still together, so that has to count for something.

Happy to meet others--especially others in my area.

well, i guess i'm sorta in your area. northwestern corner of WA state, USA. i'm pretty much just south of vancouver B.C. i guess. i think i've been there during my school years on some class trip or other in fact :lol:

Alas, Edmonton is two days drive through
the mountains from Vancouver. In other words,
I'm a little far away for us to meet regularly
except over the Internet. I hope life in the
Lower Mainland is treating you well.
