Hi everyone. I've just been diagnosed (finally) with Asperger's this evening (10th Dec) after a lifetime of feeling 'odd' and so happy that today is the first step of a new journey - I really do feel happy at last but know there still hurdles ahead like how to tell my family and work colleagues and my other friends.

Well apart from that, my real name is Dermot and I am a 43 year old, Irish, gay guy, living in London in the UK and looking to make some new friends - Aspies/Aspie-friendly and/or gay/gay-friendly. I'm a nice friendly intelligent guy and hope to meet up soon or chat with like-minded people here too.
