I'm a 20 year old NT who happens to get on quite well with Aspies. Possibly due to the fact that I am quite obsessive and lately more than a tad asocial 8)

Some of my interests are: films, history, politics, Jean Rhys, Sarah Kane, the Mitford sisters, graphic novels, and Carl Sagan. I also adore music and Ian Curtis :D

I have been active on other AS forums for 2 years now.

Carl Sagan is awesome. I'm reading The Demon Haunted World right now. And it's funny; I'm a 21 year old Aspie who gets along quite well with NTs. I tend to not get along with Aspies though. Most of them are too damned sensitive. I'm blunt and I'm loud and rude and unconventionally honest with people. So naturally Aspies don't like me.

You awesome person!! :D Have you watched Control or the Joy Division documentary? Personally I think the documentary pwns the movie. The actor sang 8O

They released Cosmos on DVD last year, I was so excited lol. Unfortunately I can't afford it yet so I have to make do with YT clips :(

I like honesty 8) I prefer people to be upfront with me.

Psh! Have I seen Control? Of course - I used to watch it every day after school!
And I couldn't agree more - The documentary wasn't just from Debbie's side of the story, and it covered alot more Joy Division Ground. I have also read House of Dolls.
Have you seen "24 Hour Party People"? If not, then you have committed a sin! It covers the whole Manchester punk scene and begins with alot of Joy Division stuff - I liked that one alot because the actor didn't sing, they used the actual Joy Division recordings.

Now I feel like a lousy fan :P I haven't seen 24 Hour Party People yet :( I desperately want to though, apparently the actor who played Ian was really good.

I also really wanna visit Macclesfield some day.
