I'm Cindy. I'm high functioning AS, 41 years old, married 22 years, five kids, from Pennsylvania, USA. I just learned about AS a couple of months ago (self-dx). It's been an incredible relief to finally understand my life. :lol:
I recently finished reading Tolkien's Silmarillion. Fascinating!

I also found a diagnosis about two months ago and I am also self-diagnosed.
Have you read other J.R.R. Tolkien's books ?

Thanks. Well, I've read the LOTR. My 21yo dd has Unfinished Tales and Gawain. I need to borrow them from her. I just read the Raffel translation of Gawain, so now I'd like to read Tolkien's version, since Raffel makes it clear in his introduction that he takes exception to a good bit of Tolkien's work on the poem.
