Hi.
I'm in college, taking part time classes.
I like photography.
I'm diagnosed with Asperger's by a specialist and a neurologist, but I also took some neuropsychological testing which resulted in the consideration of either High Functioning Autism or PDDNOS, when taking language delay and the sensory issues into account. So, that is considered, but the official diagnosis hasn't changed because, hey, is there any real reason to change it?
I don't know what I think about all that.
It's strange, people think they know what Asperger's or Autism is supposed to "look" like. So if you tell them you are autistic, they get strange or disbelieving or suddenly have to go somewhere because they forgot an appointment they had or something similar.
You don't fit preconceived notions for anything and then you don't fit anywhere.
Blah.
Sorry, I'm rambling.
Hi everyone!
I hope I can meet people here who get it. This seems like a lively place and interesting so maybe I'll stick around for a while. That would be nice.
No worries I'm going through the same thing I was only diagnosed a couple of years ago. I caused a lot of things to make sense I tend to ramble too.
